Likes
- The campus environment is the one thing that I liked here. We have a lot of students coming all over from India anf and you can also find some students from abroad.
- Fully flexible system, where you can choose your subjects, professors and timings
- Food availability inside the campus is decent and you almost get everything that you want to eat
Dislikes
- Location of the campus is a disadvantage, as it's too far from the city
- Fee is a bit high for some courses. If the student is not from eapcet then he must pay more amount of money
- The availability of hostels is a concern here. Not everyone here gets the hostel, it depends upon your cgpa and if it's too less you may not get the hostel inside the campus
Course Curriculum Overview
Here you have the fully flexible system to choose the subjects for each sem. Apart from important subjects it's one's own choice to select the subjects. 3 examinations are held during a semister and the difficulty level is 3.5 out of 5(varies according to the subject). The course curriculum is decent and you can find some really good courses to select.
Internships Opportunities
College provide summer internships here but not everyone gets the opportunity. One must be skilled so much to get an internship. A lot of companies provide the internships but they select only a few number of students.
Placement Experience
From 4th year 1st semester, students are eligible for the placements. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan and a lot other visit campus placements and around 1000 offers are made each year
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is of three categories mostly. For btech it ranges from 1.5 lakh to 4lakh. And for integrated mtech it ranges from 96k to 1.9 lakh. The average package is 8.3 lpa and the highest package this year stands around 33lpa. We have a very good employment opportunities
Campus Life
Every Saturday and before festivals we have events here. Annual fest and technical fest are conducted every year. Classrooms have projects and white screens. We have tournaments for the sports and we have clubs.
Hostel Facilities
Vit provide very comfortable rooms and mess provide a wide variety of food items. There are three categories of mess( veg, non-veg, special) and also categories for hostel(2bed, 4bed, 5bed- ac/non-ac)
Admission
You can come through eapcet or by IPE marks. If it is through ipe then you must apply for the course. Applications are open on vit.ac.in (integrated mtech). If you are a local student and income is below 2.5 lakh(approx) you are eligible for the fee reimbursement. There are three categories through IPE based entry where the cat1 fee is 90k, cat2 fee is 1.6lakh and cat3 fee is 1.9lakh.
