Entrance Preview
I cleared PGCET 2012. RK University is having very good experience faculty members and upgraded syllabus. Also, teaching methodologies are well advanced. Active learning and outcome-based education were key points of it.
Course Curriculum Overview
I learned the advanced subject for my master. Consists of 4 Semester. In the first year each semester having 6 subjects for learning and in the second year, we have a full dissertation. We have many elective subjects as well where students have to select their choice of subject.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, they provide.
Placement Experience
Many well-known companies are visiting for placement. Lots of job opportunities are there. Average package is around 30K/Month. A good number of students are getting placed.
College Events
All types of events celebrated in our University like cultural event (Galore), technical event (Technoplanet), Kite festival, Teacher's day celebration, Industrial visit etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. Compare to other colleges in Gujarat region, RK University fee structure is feasible. Exam fees and other fees are also nominal. The infrastructure and facilities provided are good compared to fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
They offer K.S.Patel scholarship award for bright students. The Loan facility is also available. Also, help for needy students.
Campus Life
Everything was good. The gender ratio is 4:3 (boys: girls). There are many indoor-outdoor sports ground, Advanced computer labs, many extracurricular activities done at campus premises.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities were also good. Good infrastructure. Good staff at the hostel. The mess food was also good. Mess area was clean. Overall experience was good for hostel and mess.
Alumni/Alumna
This was our first batch for Masters.RK University has a strong alumni association.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was a continuous evaluation based. We were evaluated continuously throughout the semester. They follow a completely different pattern for examination.
Admission
It was on merit-based of GATE and PGCET.
Faculty
All the faculties are knowledgeable and supportive. They all are highly skilled and well qualified. We had multiple review session by other faculties where research-oriented things are discussed. Faculties are also attending conferences and other short team programs for advanced learning.
