Likes

I liked the campus infratructure with large space of greenary.
I like the maintanence of the campus in all aspects such as cleanliness.
All the cultural fests and sport programs conducted.

Dislikes

Any things in the campus are of more cost.
Due to lack of students it is not easy to consult faculty.
To go outing it is funny to call our parents.

The main curriculum is this course has more scope to get a job compares to the other ones. The curriculum provided by the university helps to improve our academics. There should be improvement in computer based subjects.

Internships Opportunities

There are so many internship opportunities available or provided by the campus through the world. I don't know much about internship programs since I am a first year student. One of the senior said there are so many companies are there to do internship all over the world which are provided by campus

Placement Experience

The placements are nice and the average package in computer science is between 9-10 lakhs. More than 75% of the students are getting placed. The highest package is 45 laks per annum. The companies like google, Amazon, tcs, Microsoft visited and offers are more.

Fees and Financial Aid

My tution fee is 95000 including some other training programs fees. I will get scholarship from the government of andhra pradesh. The name is jvd. They will pay the entire tution fee. The overall cost of my education in this university is around 200000 including hostel.

Campus Life

The campus life is going good. Nice climate, atmosphere and people. There will be fests like aloha, udgam and infinitus. Conducted every year. There will be all types of books in the library regarding to the subject. Sports and other extracurricular activities are held.

Hostel Facilities

I am in a 4 sharing bunker room with four fans for every bed. The mees menu is good and healthy. The registration process is through online portal provided to you after admission. They clean the rooms everyday.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

I got the admission through eamcet entrance examination. I got 30000 rank in the exam. I have the benefits of reservation. There is another mode of admission process that is through srmjee. It is counducted by the university itself.

The placements of students are managed by VIIT Training and Placement (T & P) cell, guiding the students, being supportive, conducting aptitude and coding sessions time-to-time. Students are eligible to placements from the end of 6th semester. Top recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Deloitte visit regularly. Packages range from 3.5 - 10 LPA. Highest package was offered by Amazon i.e. 50 LPA, to the CSE graduate. Average package CTC ranges from 4-5 LPA. 85 % of students gets placed. My plans after the degree is not yet decided, I may secure a job or gonna opt for higher studies.

So probably my course is cyber security. It helps me more and grow in society for a better gentleman in society like the cyber security helps more in society by stopping cyber crimes. Cyber thefts etc. It's also teaches the Bitcoin and trading course especially they teach how to deal with market. The cyber security has a opportunity by entering department of police by doing tracking activities and surfing in websites and stopping cyber crimes in surrounding areas. After completing my intermediate I have applied for sastra University Thanjavur,SRM AP,VIT AP. However I couldn't get into sastra as I didn't get a CSE seat in it due to less marks and regional difference. Compared to VIT and SRM I thought SRM is better as it has better infrastructure, placements and good faculty. Students can get admission either through SRMJEEE or EAMCET . There is no cutoff rank for students through SRMJEEE. Cutoff for Students through EAMCET changes according to their caste. Students who are financially less stable prefer Joining through EAMCET. students who are weak in studies prefer Joining through SRMJEEE....Read More

I chose SRM AP over VIT or local picks due to its modern tech focus. Some students miss IIT or NIT because of high JEE ranks. SRM AP is a top private choice for CSE.
