Likes
- Hostel rooms are sanitized properly eveeyday and washrooms are also clean and we have ac class rooms and maxhub tv for displaying pdf and ppts.
- Labs are maintained properly. We have Baskin robins,us pizza, Belgium waffle stores
- Laundry is also good they will fold our clothes gently and provide within 2days
Dislikes
- We don't have proper library ambiance and books
- We have more free hours so we don't have much classes to learn in class hours
- They are some power issues in our hostels and water problems
Course Curriculum Overview
I am computer science student at present faculty is teaching c programming and data structures so it is not that easy to understand but if we work on it. It becomes easy but getting gpa is not so hard because we have to concentrate on 4 major subjects so it is simple The main thing we have to do is interact with faculty and improve our confidence and communication skills
Internships Opportunities
College provide good internships opportunities for the studenta in srmap college. Actually the stipend for the studebts with amount is given to students from third year of their academic year. There are many companies which provides internships with stilend of upto 15000. Amazon, tcs, tata, dsi digitals are some companies that are giving internships opportunities to our students in srm ap
Placement Experience
For eamcet students as i listened from our seniors and faculty we will get interview opportunities from 3rd semester. Microsoft, ibm, Infosys, google, capgemini are popular companies that made offers for our university students. We got highest package of 50lakhs and avg package is 9 to 11 lakhs. 90% of students are getting placed and my plans are to immediately get a job and after getting job after few years i want to start a startup.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm through eamcet my tuition fee is 70k and my hostel fee is 1lakh 50k, and we have to pay some exams fees like 2500 per semester. Yeah we can apply different scholarships from this college, but for some students it is difficult to pay because if we delay to play then they will close the student portal and we can't register our course for that semester and we have to consult respective departmart.
Campus Life
There is no gender bias here we can interact with anyone and rules are liberal and college life is good and we not forced to do something expect assignments and records because they are academics and fests are quite good they post everything to inform us and ciubs are more interactive with good quizzes so it is very good life. We also have group discussions, projects and learning new things to improve our lives
Hostel Facilities
We can book hostels based on our budget and hostels have 4 bed bunker and 2 sharing and 10 sharing commom washrooms and electricians are very quick they help us very good. They will provide shelves for clothes and study table for specific person and it is quite expensive, i haven't rented rooms because im studying in hostel and food is not bad but we don't taste any spicy food and salt in that food. Registration is through student portal. They provide showers in our washrooms hot water and cold water
Admission
Actually i got 95% percentile in jee mains but i didn't got any good nits or any other colleges i got 3k rank in advanced iit entrance exam. But i didn't got any iit's also but i got 6k rank in ap eamcet so i got two options in Andhra Pradesh ie. Vit Amaravati and srm ap but I want to join srmap because my friends are decided to join that university. My parents are not happy for me but it is what it is, exams are pretty tough like jee mains and iit entrance exam
