- Library, infrastructure and the teachers are the most irreplaceable things that we can't found in others colleges . And there is no environment of ragging and buling . And the wifi facility is provided by the university so that everyone and anyone.
- The dean and the academic staff is really really impressive they treat you like their real child and even whenever we need a help we just try to connect they and they solves every single problem of every student whatever is facing or going through.
- So it's quite hard to accept that yes we have a college like that which always keeps us motived in every aspect of life whenever we feel down we just go to a cricket ground and athletics ground to turn our anger itno happiness and that's a ultimated
Dislikes
- There is no management system and they don't give a budget to students to organise an event easily. We have to go through a many quires and many questions after that we are just give a small amount of money to arrange an event in such a small budget
- The play grounds are little small like they can we more good but the most of the space of ground and University has no use and it's just waste of space and we should use it properly for students guidence and wellbeing it should be keep reminding .
- There are many social account as the name of offical account of ptu but they all are fake don't get into that. The real one has only 4k followers with identical followers . The college always supports with everything you want to achieve in you life
Course Curriculum Overview
It's quite impressive to see that the college environment is really friendly to us . Like there is no scene of ragging aur buling students. Teachers has a strong bond with us even our Dean Mr. Vikas chawla sir interacts with students and let them explore the new opportunities given by him . When we talk about the infrastructure of IKGPTU Kapurthala main campus, undoubtedly one of the best college or university of Punjab and can compete other colleges in infrastructure and even they acquire many DS stages
Fees and Financial Aid
The policy on tution fees increases, specifying regularly and even they are quite more efficient in other ways . They are interested in taking advantages of students basically who don't know about the best colleges . Campus empowerment you have undertaken, including job roles, responsibility and other stipends awards. Our seniors always told us that there is no chance of appearing for placement on colleges, you have to give a try for a offline placements. But now the time has changed many well known companies visiting to our college, trying to deal with the young youth so they can provide them future to themselves as well as to students. Even after you see the difference of students and well if others they always appreciate and motivate you and encourages you to give your best even if you are a beginner they never give upon you and always full with mindsets with new idea and technology. Companies like Infosys and zscaler visiting and makes a session with us.
Campus Life
There are many tech fest like Aagaz , youth festival basically known as youth festival. Even we can take organize department wise festive seasons but we have to take a permission from our deans and department teachers . They never say no to any student if he comes with brillant ideas . As I have mentioned th e function name as Aagaz is organised by CSE department in 2023 and in the previous year 2022 it was organised by civil department . So it's basically a youthful and cheerful festive function where anyone can show there talent and their HUNAR . Like they shares a group of a link where we have to fill the forms and even we can direct refer to the department for quiiries regarding the program. When we talk about the library it's really huge and manifesting, like you feel like a heaven when you enter in library . There is so peaceful environment and the number of books available there , is around 20k . They includes literature, comics , story and novels . Anyone can go there id proof
Admission
We can take direct addmission into this Besides that we can also apply for pms which is only for sc students. If you have scored 85+% in boards they will give you opportunity of taking an scholarship
