What Students Say

Likes

the campus was large and lively, with lots of activity. this created a strong sense of community and it was easy to meet new people
piet offered a decent range of engineering specializations. allowing me to find something that aligned with my interests.
some courses did involve hands on projects, which offered practical and made learning more engaging

Dislikes

far too much of the focus was on memorizing concepts rather than critical thinking and problem solving.
some of the laboratory equipment and software felt outdated
while placements were possible, it often felt like a numbers game for getting any job

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Positives that influencef my decision >Positives of options: parul university offers a wide range of programs, which was definitely a plus point. > Exposure to emerging fields: some of the newer course offerings focused on fields like data science and AI.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

college placements eligibility in last year or pre-final year of study parul university has a ddicated placement cell that facilities the process. parul's website proudly showcases many recognizable companies in their placement drivers.

Fees and Financial Aid

tution fees is high complete cost of education : 125000 all scholarship available in college academic marks linked extracircular acheivements campus employment job types: roles include library assistants, lab helpers, working in the mess hall, administrative work etc.

Campus Life

festival fever: parul university seems to ahve a vibrant cultral calander with several festivals celebrated throughout the year, this includes annual fests along with technical events releate to differents department. clubs and socities: not so good diversity: with parul being an inetrnational university, the student body represents a wide range of backgrounds. library: libraray is good

Hostel Facilities

separate boys and girls hostel: parul university has separate, well maintained hostel blocks for male and female students. room options: rooms are available in a varity of configurations, such as double, triple, or four sharing and many more

Hostel Fee: INR 81000 per year

Admission

My College Admission Experience overall, my college admission process was fairly straightforward, though aspects could definitly be improved. Here's a breakdown of what I went through: Eligibility & Application > Course Eligibility: the basic eligibility for the program i applied to was completing my 12th grade exams with decent scores. Some courses might have specifc subject requirements, like having studied math upto grade 12 for a math related degree. > Finding the Form: The application form was available on the college website. The website also clearly listed application fees and the start and end date of the appliction window. The entrance exam for entrance i didn't given entrance exam because college have direct admission process Areas for Improvement > clarity on process: the information on the entire process could be better organized upfront. > Standardized Exam: instead of college specific entrance exams, it could be preferable to rely on a single.

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

What it feels to be a Parulite

After completing my 12th Boards I applied to a bunch of colleges and gave various exams to get a seat. I took the JEE exam as I wanted to go to IIT to pursue the same degree that I do now but unfortunately, I couldn't as I didn't get enough score to be selected for the advanced JEE exam. The other government colleges that I had applied to had a certain quota reserved for students from different regions and since I had to shift to a new city altogether that proved to be a hurdle. One such college that I had previously applied to before Parul University was the Maharaja Sayajirao College in Vadodara. I chose Parul University because I had good things about it and their placement scheme was well-known among people so I opted for this college. The admission process is pretty simple. They brief you about the fee structure for the course that you want to take on your first visit and give you a campus tour. Then on the second visit (if you didn't proceed prior) they assign an intern who efficiently guides you through the admission process from the fee payment to briefing you about the exam structure and other pieces of information that might come in handy in future....Read More
