Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

i was passionate about engineering branch and the beauty of labs and workshops were there in college motivated me to choose this course !! the curriculum prepared me for real world applications, i would say college did wonderful work in their labs! but it would be amazing if they install more advanced labs as well ...it will help students a lot

Internships Opportunities

4

there were good companies visited in our campus which provided good internship opportunities! e.g wipro they gave great skills to us in that internship period which helped us so much in securing a good career

Placement Experience

3.5

placement drives were good in my college, but yes as there is competetion among other students to secure a good package job, so many people dont appreciate it, but i would say it was great ..there are so many great companies i had seen visiting our college, wipro, microsoft, mahindra, even google!

Fees and Financial Aid

as a private university i would say the fee stucture is absolutely amazing...worth every penny as the values they are providing, as i did my engineering more than 5 years ago...the fees was comparitevly less as compared to todays fee structure...mine was 43,000 per semester back then and bus fees was 20,000 every year!

Campus Life

5

oh yes!i remember as our college always host parivartan event, i did participated in that event every year...it gave me so much confidence to socialise with seniors and learn from them for my career too... im grateful to this college for providing amazing events in 2 months which helped me became more confident in life! the libraries were amazing, we can have every book we wanted related to our course...

Admission

The admission process was very smooth, thankfully i had scored more than 75% in my Class 12th Boards, that is why i didn't need to give entrance exam, you can find application form online very easily on cgc landran site and everything is available there! i always loved the discipline of management of my college, today i'm successful in my career because of the priciples i had learned there! the frequency and timing of exams were good, as they take sessional tests every month and final exam in the end of semester...due to sessional exams it was very easy to prepare semester end exams!

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
