- Hostel rooms, mess food, electricity all day, AC in classroom.

- Wi-Fi provided here doesn't work, it is very slow and needs to be fixed.
- The number of tests and long college hours till 4.30 in the afternoon.
- The computers in the lab are not good, they often shut down and don't start.
Course Curriculum Overview
My areas of interest are computers and programming,hence I got to choose the Btech course which was my domain specific. This course is specifically good for me as it will help to provide 4 years of competitive programming which is a good skill. The areas which are pretty bad as the frequencies of tests and exams as they takes up whole remaining time.This should be changed as it will of very help. The faculties on the the other hand are pretty good. We got some of the best faculty in our 1st semester. One downgrade for us is not having proper digital classes and this needs a huge improvement.
Internships Opportunities
Tech Companies like TCS , WIPRO provides intership from the end of second year onwards. Most of the intership provide a good pay to the students . Projects are to be done for intership and the teachers help in the betterment of the project.
Placement Experience
Students in our college can get a internship from third year onwards based on their performance. Various companies like TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, Adobe visits the college and the number of placement offer are pretty well. The highest package is 50 lakhs per annum and the average is 5.5 lakhs, which is good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarships are limited during the course period. But good scholarship could be taken during counseling process. Campus placement opportunities are overall good as comparies tend to visit the college.
Campus Life
The campus life in IMSEC is good as students who live in hostel gets to enjoy many tests like AAGAAZ , DJ NIGHT, VIBGYOUR and other tech fests. The Library here is not up to mark, there are very limited number of books and the timings of library are during college hours which is not good. Students plays all sports and the facilities provided are pretty good like basketball court, badminton court, table tennis. Clubs are not well designed and students can join clubs from second year which is not good.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities provided are good. The bathroom are decent and the food quality and variety is good in the mess. Our room is of good area as it is 3 person room but only students live in one room which is nice. The electricity comes all the time with little to no powercut in a day. Study desks are provided in the rooms with light which is good. The registration process was easy for the hostel and the fees of hostel is pretty affordable.
Admission
The eligibility of couses are limited you are taking admission without counseling. Mainly our boards marks in class 10 and class 12 are considered for taking different branches. If you have good marks, getting your choice branch is easy. Also, some fees waiver is given according to marks in boards or marks/percentile in competitive exams like JEE. Fees waiver is much more in case of admission via counseling. I got my admission form right away as I reached the admission cell. They told about the required documents a few days prior to admission. The slowy process was about payment method as they only have UPI, networking or cheque and no cash method. This was frustrating as we brought the payment in cash and due to this issue, we were told to go here and there and talk to some other person. It took about 2 hours just to finalize our payment. Overall,the experience was slightly better than expected as it didn't take the whole day. The frequencies of exams and test is too much..
