Likes

good atmosphere even though there is more traffic outside the campus ,inside the campus will be so nice as the campus is filled with trees.
there is also good gym to do exercise those who stay in the hostel
teacher also good the teaching is good ,except fee lectures everyone will teach nicely ,involvement of lecture is good ,they help in problem solving etc

Dislikes

infrastructure in the college ,even few areas are good in good maintenance is too bad.
no regular fests in the college which will make college life little boaring
no good labs we faced more problem in labs at starting

.topic related to the syllabus is thought by the teachers no other extra gainning of knowledge .seminar will be given (a particular topic will be provided and the seminar should be done based on that) .use the library as much as you can

. at first year my tuition fess was 6500 , 2nd and 3rd year fee will be less compared to 1st year. .state scholarship portal(SSP) wil be available to all the students every year. . ending of the 3rd year few comanies will choose the college for job selections.

Campus Life

.the infrastructure is not so good. .functions conducted by the college is less one or two programs will for overall year thats it. .NCC,sports is good in college. .no trips from college. .accessiblity of books in library is good ayou will find the bookd required for you course and some competative exam books area also available.

Hostel Facilities

.i am staying in college hostel. .its a divide and rule system where all activities will be handled by te students. .hostel is available only for bsc,bca,data science,ai,msc,mca students. . startinf fee will 13500 after the fee will be reduced to approx 6000. .monthly mess fee should be paid which comes below 2000. .nearby BCM hostesl are also available. .hostel is ok.

Admission

. I did not take any entrance exam. i do joined the college with the 10th and 12th marks. the addmission process was simple as they provide a form and make us to fill te detils which will aslo include the subjects that we will be taking and the required original documents should be supplied . . form will be provided in college ,application fee will 100,aplication date will be said by the college. .no reservation as per my information. .exams will be conducted sem wise were 1st half year sem max will be in march,april whereas the next half yaer sem will be in sep,oct. .to know more about the admission deatils you should contact administrative office.

About the college life

Likes

Teacher are well indulged , they help you .
Very good area where students get stuff they need.
Provision of canteen and stationery given

Dislikes

Campus is tooo small for a student to even have lunch
Strict and actively don't support in athletics
Sometimes, dealing with admin-related processes like society budget approval or fest dates approval can be slow and confusing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I got admission in 2024 so BCU started SEP Batch which is totally new , and we really don't find any book to refer on the basis where we don't get help as much as we need and it's new , bsc has alot to do .

Likes

Research culture, cooperation and a distinct lack of competition
Active student bodies, cultural groups, regional groups
Friendly professors, good understanding of mental health on the professor level

Dislikes

Bad decisions taken by admin regarding mental health, such as removal of ceiling fans and attempts at coverups.
Apparently Caste Based discrimination. Seems to be a lawsuit right now.
Difficulty with time management in early semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

All you need to know about BASEU

Likes

Infrastructure is really good, the campus is huge and is filled with greenery
The curriculum is extensive and is based on real world applications
The campus is happening with a lot of clubs

Dislikes

The placements are not upto the mark, could be better
The mess food could improve. It is puke worthy.
Although it is a college, there are a lot of restrictions

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.

good supporting lecturers and the principal. they are supportive to almost everything. even the director is a very soft person. lift facility is worst where there is timing to lift. if you miss the timing you have to climb 5 floors by steps. hostel Facility need to be changed with quality. syllabus need to be upgraded
