Faculty is good if we behave good in front of them

Course Curriculum Overview

I need to say that you have to be fully prepared before coming to college and academic is very strict this is not like intermediate it's completely beyond that the teaching methods are good and very fast the timings is only morning

Class Size: 28Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

From end of 6th semester the students are eligible to sit in placements There are so many companies majority are L&T, KEC, Samsung, JSW, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Amazon, like this there are more 200 companies Will visit The highest package in my batch is 29 LPA 30% of students got placed My plan after degree is UPSC

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees is 80000 but exception for SC, ST, OBC, EWS who has income less than 98000 for those it is free and hostal fees is 35000 for semester there is no other charges there special charges at joining time mainly for table chair and etc it's about 8000 You can so many scholarships according to teachers they will guide you everything everything is taken by college teachers

Campus Life

Techinal fest are majorly ekarkthin, flash mob, freshers day, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi, science day, these are fests will be done according to the teachers The library limit is to 5000 books you can each and every book you need in college time The classrooms are bamboo classroom these are good Sports there are 4 grounds enough to play there are so many interior games also there

Admission

I written JEE Mains and I got 95.25 percentile in the year of 2019 and I got civil engineering department, here first we need to apply for college through nta websites and you need have income certificate and caste certificate if applicable, mainly you need to in time of college application date where you need to pay 35000 for changing of colleges or branches by round by round at last by confirming college you need to pay 35000 after that first 2 semesters are easy and same for everyone and after the exam difficulty will increase year by year I won't recommend Civil engineer to join in this college better to join near by college and I recommend ece and eie or cse these are good

Better Review of my college

Likes

Campus is very good and all the class room are also good and comfortable and all the teachers are responsible for his own work
Placement are also good . And the placement coordinator are also help in the placement and the project
The ratio of boys and girl are little bit small but the ratio is 4/10 for boys and girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the curriculum activities are good and all the teachers are good in nature and always help me a lot when students facing the problem. All the staff members are good and help all the students. The timing of the exam or time duration in end sem is for three hours and the difficulty level is also good .

Nagaland University from my eyes

Likes

The things I liked about nagaland University is if you want to escape from the hustle of your city, you can feel the zen here.
The professors here are very considerate and they are not biased and give equal opportunities to everybody
The stereotype about nagaland is totally false and it falls under one of the safest states to visit in nagaland. It is coming from my experience after visiting the other NE states.

Dislikes

Water scarcity is a major issue here during the winters.
Electricity is very irregular during rain and thunderstorms
Traffic is not regulated. Rules are not imposed as strictly as you would expect. Which might be a benefit for youngsters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

After learning about all the different courses I thought of going for soil science as it is the basis of all the other agricultural sciences. Practical classes exposes us to various real world experiences. The only area where our college can improve is providing better facilities for practicals. The frequency is timing of exams is very comfortable.

Placement Experience:

There was a very organised department which was solely engaged in the placement and related services for the members of different courses and the placement cell was knowledgeable. The university admission cell plays a significant role since the training and placement committee is responsible for all aspects of the placement process and also assists with it. The batch's top compensation package was over 12 LPA.

Admission:

St. Joseph University is located in Nagaland and has a beautiful study environment. To get admission, the student should have completed class 12 with at least 50 percent from any recognized Indian Board. Then the students will have to give the entrance exam and based on their merit in the exam they will be selected for the university.

Remarks:

The college is lacking in terms of facilities which was present in colleges with lower cutoffs. Working so hard for JEE and then getting a college like this one demotivates and irritates a lot. Positive things are like the campus is beautiful and a few alumini are good.

Remarks:

Yes, the college is very budget friendly and the college is located right near the city. It faces no difficulty in electricity, water and internet. It has almost all the equipments and tools needed. One drawback is that the college doesn't have a permanent campus.

If you want to study hard then only join this else go for other Nit's which have better on campus oppurtunity

So look i was getting mechanical in nit patna ,silchar etc and below mech in rest of the other nits but I joined because of the CSE as getting only in this but now I regret my decision because this college is not made for cse as their is not the culture of coding but ya things are improving .I hope in 2 to 3years this college will improve .I regret so much after joining the college that I was kind of depressed for one year.Now I made my mind jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai so keep studying. You have to clear jee mains and to get cse for obc your rank should be below 50k and for general below 30 k and for locals nagas they get cse around 4 to 7 lakh rank. I didn't get rejected from other college like in JOSSA councling I get mech in Nit patna then I withdrawn .One of my shubchintak told me to do so and applied for this in csab and regret my decision...Read More
