Course Curriculum Overview

4

I did my mechanical engineering and had 2 years of industrial experience, I wanted to enhance my management skills and contribute towards the organisation, that's why I opted for operation management course. The course gives a good insight about the real world. The course could have been more practical based. The exam happens once every 5-6 months and the level of exam is moderate

Placement Experience

4

From 3rd semester the students are eligible for placements Companies like godrej and L&T often comes to college and the average package is 8Lpa Highest the companies offer is 12Lpa could be higher at times and the lowest is 6Lpa. Almost 95% of the students get placed Getting placed in a goo organisation and help in the growth of the company

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have much idea about the fee structure Per year it comes around 150000 There is a scholarship scheme by mahadbt available for EWS students. Not anything that I can think of, but the college provides internship opportunities where students get the benefit of stipends.

Campus Life

4

The college has a fest called Verve which is held in the month of Feb. This is the biggest fest of the college. The library has a large catalogue of books for every student's requirement The college provides a good exposure to sports and co curricular activities The students are involved in various groups such as green club which aims to save the planet and create awareness among the students to lead a greener life.

Admission

Eligibility of the course was atleast to have completed bachelor degree The application form could be found in official CET website and the dates could be found in sikhsha.com There are many colleges under Mumbai University which considers reservation if you have one. Caste reservation like SC/ST/OBC are found in majority of the colleges. Whereas linguistic and religious minority benefits could be found in certain selected colleges only. The CET entrance exam happens once a year usually in the month of March. The exam is comparatively easy as it doesn't have any negative marking. The CET exam should be improved, last year there was a lot issues because of which many students had to take the test twice.

Placement Experience:

There are good placement options from companies like Reliance, TATA, Hinduja, HERE, etc. They host Job Fairs which are open to all. Due to COVID, these things are happening online. I was already placed somewhere so I did not partake in their activities as much as other students. The entry criteria are subjected to the company you are applying for, so it keeps varying. But the faculty tries their best that opportunity is given to all.

Remarks:

AIMSR was most suitable as per my entrance exam score. Also, the faculty and infrastructure of the college were really good. The quality and percentage of placements was also decent. The college was near my residence which was another plus point.
