campus infrastructure have mainly 4 blockscentyral block(cb) is kind of unique,academic block(ab1),ab2,rock plaza
sports facilities is really great ,equipped with best courts for badmintn,squash,tennis
college response regarding anything is very fast and cooperative and specially everything here is done very systematically

Dislikes

its location is really bad really nearby is nothing in the range of 20km
their strict rules and files for almost every punishments
their timing regarding coming inside hostel is 8:30 pm .as we have claases till 7:30 so we have to do all chill and fun in 1 hr

Course Curriculum Overview

As VIT curriculum is well updated with current infill classes from 1st year onwards on the other hands in other colleges these soft skills will be taught 3 months before the placement season. Professors here all are phd holders from iits,nits and top colleges but still some are not good at teaching.Every semester is of 2 CAT and end by 1 FAT .

the companies who recruited here are Microsft Samsung JP Morgan HP Amazon Uber Wells Fargo SAP labs TATA is for many roles as software full stack design management roles as i read and gone through all the official data cse students got offers like63lpa 42lpa 35lpa 27lpa 12lpa 20lpa 15lpa and interns stipends are like 10 lpa 5lpa 6lpa

Placement Experience

In VIT placement is centralised but still every campus own placement cell for placement assistance. highest -63lpa average-8-9lpa median-3-4lpa placement last year 2023 was 96% and kind of 95% above and top mncs come here for recruitment after bachelor i will go for masters in iits

tuition fee depend on category system:- cat1-195000 cat2-243000 cat3-343000 cat4-443000 cat5-498000 hostel fee accordingly:- depends on the 2 bedded,4 beeded,6 beeded and the type of mess you choose options are veg,non-veg,special mess fee range (12100-193000/yr)

Campus Life

As campus life is very good but compaively strict with respect to other colleges with their rules and regulations but every facilies and amenties are well equipped and par with iits genunely .VIT have many tie up with foreign university and industrs.one thing that really degrading vit quality is its intake of students.as we have two annual national,interional fest VTAPP -technica and sports fest. When its comes to sports facilities ,for every sports we have seperate grounds,courts and also lots of club and chapter are there for technical and extra curricular activities that helps student beyond academics.

Hostel Facilities

In hostel rooms you will get table chair bed almirah book shelf. clening will be done daily, and on complain of electrl will replace or solve soon.Quality of meal. is good with lots of option in menu.

Admission

Eligibility-you have to secure minimum aggregation marks of 60%(2022-2023) in P+C+M in respective board examination. you will find the application form of VITEEE on its official website of VIT,as VITEEE is conducted every year once in the month of April.VITEEE application form fee is RS 1350. As VITEEE is computer based examination,exam duration will be of 2hr 30min.will be MCQ based.for every correct answers 1 marks and wrong answers 0 marks. paper consists of 4 parts physics(35Q), Chemistry(35Q), Maths(40Q), Aptitude(10Q), English(5Q) as difficulty of board level,only have to prepare for Aptitude I think their ranking system should be more transparent

My experience at Vignan's Institute Of Information Technology

Likes

The college have good learning environment. We have spacious classrooms with digital boards and pc, multiple playgrounds, seminar halls,digital labs etc.I like the digital labs because we gain our pratical experience.
we have a central library which has digital library in it. In exams most of the time i will spent in library. Because it has peaceful environment. The rules of library is also good. We need to swip our id to enter the library.
The next thing i like in my college is the temple. We have a temple in our college. in our free time, we spent our time at temple. And the most important thing is the college try very hard to get the students placed in reputated company.

Dislikes

Main drawback of our college is, we have only small canteen. Everyone doesnot like it. sometimes we need to eat our food by standing due to less number of tables but the food is good.
we have food court and canteen, these two are small. But our college looked into this. Now constructing the big one.
Other than these things. I donot have any things i donot like about my college. The college road is not good to our college but now our college sloving this issue also.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is very good. We have excellent training placement cell. The faculty of the placement cell are very supportive and friendly with the students. They use their network to bring the reputated companies to the campus. The maintain the well bond with the companies. around 90% of the students are placed every year from every branch. Remaing 10% students are may be with blocks or any some other reasons. If the student doesnot get any placement in the campus, the campus offers the some jobs to the students.

Why Kl university

Likes

I like the infrastructure of my university
College life is very good and there will be no stress
The Teaching and non teaching staffs are very good and supportive

Dislikes

The thing I disliked is the timings of the classes
Another thing is to travel for long time if you are local

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the circulam 10 out of 10 because in our cirrculum we will learing skills like dbms, full stack which will we useful in our placements. we have two mid examinations first 50% of the syllabus will be on mid1, another 50% will be mid2 and one semeter end exam.

A College Boy Story

Likes

I like the support from the faculty and they support us in every work and task
they provide the internships more and more from the prestiougus institutes
the campus is good and the infastructure is very well

Dislikes

the food at the canteen is wrost as excepected but now it better sometimes
the faculty is less expirenced it is some most one that i dislikes
the fee structure for the students is more thinh i disliked they make more stress

Placement Experience:

form the semester of 3rd year and 2nd semester and our college contains amazon , wipro , infosys , accenture , cummins , tech mahindra , cred are so many startups and the highest package is 45lpa and the average is 4 lpa per person

Kits college overall review

Likes

Very disciplined college, rules are very strict in shirt tuck shoes mandatory for boys along with id card.
Other activities like functions,events participations is good
Infrastructure and maintenance is very good

Dislikes

They will ask you to pay full fee before government disperse the amount
Barely communicate between opposite genders due to strict rules
Placements from past year is not up to the mark

Actually for every 6 months we have to complete one semester,due to Covid in our batch time we completed the course quite fast,after Covid the classes are done according to the time and we also participate multiple hackathon to represent out ideas and some skill oriented programming organisations

Likes

The aspects i liked the college that appreciated by the environment of greenery and calm environment
Most of the faculties are Doctorate holders and experienced
The quality infrastructure should be good and it is rated as A+ by the NAAC

the thing i like more in our college is firstly dicipline
the thing i like in our college are more but mostly we can say friendly and experienced faculty
in my college every topic is explained practically it is very help fullfor our studies

i dont like the thing our college management dont allow us to bring mobile to college
second thing was we not even permiable to talk with opposite gender freely
some of the rules in our college represent a school

Proffesors are highly qualified and very friendly with students except in Chemical Department
Environment is too good at feet of Lord Balaji and it is free from pollution having a 100 acre campus in Sheshachala Foresf
Location Of SVU is just 3 km from Tirupati Railwaystation and can go to any place in Karnataka/Tamil Nadu/Kerala/.. As RU is Railway junction every train passes by and well connected Place

Dislikes

Ambience is becoming worst day by day as Cutoff is decreasing and you get very poor Alumni assocaition and Like minded people to develop
NIRF rank drastically falling down year by year due to its poor perfomance in academics, as Politics are involved
Infrastructure is Very bad and no one take care about hostels and College premises

Placement Experience:

Campus Placement are Really really worst!!! Everybody here forgot about placements as there are very megre placements take place. If you just want College Placement-DOBOT JOIN THIS COLLEGE. The management is trying to improve Placements and hope better will take place

Firstly i didn't apply for many entrance exams i only applied to 2 exams one is JEE Main which i did not qualify and second was VITEEE i secured 30k rank which brought me a seat for Category 2 in VIT Ap which was pretty good not the best without all the coaching stuff in intermediate , and the admission process is we have to apply for entrance test and we get our results ,we will have councelling after results which is choosing the branch and category you need if they rank matches the options you chose the seat will be given ....Read More

Excepting changes in unfair things of vit

I choose this college because this is one of the best university in Andhrapradesh through eamcet.Also,I heard from my seniors that the placements are also good.Compared to other other colleges in ap it has unique curriculum,academic timetable for students.No other extra charges will be taken once the fees is paid.But for middle class people it is difficult to pay this college fees all at once is a complex task.But,except this everything is fine here.I applied to bharath university chennai and i got seat in vit ap through eamcet so, i dropped from bharath university....Read More
