What Students Say

Likes

The faculty and their support to teach us
The great opportunities which are provided by university
The campus life of univ which really awesome

Dislikes

Language barriers for north students between students and students.
College is very far from the city, It to far

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum of SRM-AP is the best. All the faculty over here are highly qualified and hold doctorates. There is a course called entereprenuial mindset where they teach us all about enterprenuirship which is really awesome.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 335000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies like unipool, green gen science solutions etc which are the startups of the universite's faculty and students they provide us the stipend if we are working properly. The projects will be based on the work and talent.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are so good. The top most comapanies like amazon, microsoft, tcs, paypal and many more companies come to hire students. Almost all the students are getting placed. May be a best job after degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The current tution fee for me is 335000. If you get the good rank in SRMJEEE you can get a scholarship. The hidden fees in SRM-AP is just end sem fee. There are many campus employment oppurtunities which can pay you a good stipend.

Campus Life

The fests are pretty much intresting like ALOHA(Freshers day), Infinitus, Ameya, Udhgam(Sports fest). All kind of books and journals are available at library. There will be a projector display in the classrooms for best training.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel room infrasturcture is very nice. The food quality is good but not the taste. Taste is just average. The regestration process of the hostel is very simple they will tell you one day on that day you have to register but you have to do it ASAP xause again you will be left behind with non-ac rooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 145000 per year

Admission

The admission proccess to get in the SRM-AP is to write the SRMJEEE online exam. To get the good score in SRMJEEE you just need the basic knowledge of 11th and 12th class is enough. You need more than 75% score in your 12th boards. Exams will be tiwce in a sem- Mid sem and end sem. Whichc are pretty much easy.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from the 3-2 semester with pre-placement training, aptitude test, coding rounds and interviews. Companies like HSBC, Prowess soft, ADP, Infinite computer solutions and many more companies visited the campus for recuritment. The average package is around 3.5 LPA while the highest package is 16.43 LPA in 2026 and varies each year. Regular, assessment tests are being conducted to know the knowledge of the students.

Multiple tests to assess students in various aspects.
More co-curricular and extra curricular activities have to be there.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placements to its students. The college invited more than 30 software companies to the college annually where students can apply based on the criteria mentioned by the company and interest of the students. The placed students count is also good compared to the eligible students count.

SRM UNIVERSITY AP -Best in Infrastructure.

After completing my intermediate I have applied for sastra University Thanjavur,SRM AP,VIT AP. However I couldn't get into sastra as I didn't get a CSE seat in it due to less marks and regional difference. Compared to VIT and SRM I thought SRM is better as it has better infrastructure, placements and good faculty. Students can get admission either through SRMJEEE or EAMCET . There is no cutoff rank for students through SRMJEEE. Cutoff for Students through EAMCET changes according to their caste. Students who are financially less stable prefer Joining through EAMCET. students who are weak in studies prefer Joining through SRMJEEE....Read More

Modern Tech and Great Campus Life at SRM AP

I chose SRM AP over VIT or local picks due to its modern tech focus. Some students miss IIT or NIT because of high JEE ranks. SRM AP is a top private choice for CSE. The online tests make it easy to join. Most students use the SRMJEEE exam for entry. The counseling is very fast and fair. You need a 60% score in high school to apply. Top CSE seats close under rank 2000. Once your rank is out, you pick your seat. The entire process is simple and clear. This makes the start of college very smooth....Read More
