Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was relevant and comprehensive, covering all key aspects of the field. It prepared me adequately for real-world applications and further academic pursuits. However, there could be more emphasis on practical skills and hands-on experience. Exams were frequent but fair in difficulty. To improve, more industry-specific projects and interactive teaching methods could be included.
Placement Experience
Campus placements start in the penultimate semester. Companies like Western Digital and TCS Ltd visit, offering various roles. The highest package was around 21 LPA , with an average of 6 LPA. 58 percent of students get placed. If no campus placements, students focus on skill-building and networking for better job prospects. After the course, I plan to pursue internships or further studies to enhance my career opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee increased moderately each year. The total cost covered tuition, service fees, and other charges. Scholarships and financial aid were available based on academic performance and financial need. I worked on campus as a research assistant and tutor, earning stipends for my roles.
Campus Life
Campus life was lively with events like "Sankalp Fest" in March and "Innovation Day" in November. The library had a good collection of books and journals, and classrooms were well-equipped. Sports and clubs offered diverse activities, while student-run groups and online portals boosted community engagement.
Hostel Facilities
I lived in a rented room nearby. It had basic amenities like a bed and study table. The meals were okay, but could be better. Registering for the hostel involved filling forms and providing documents. The affordability depended on the room type. The locality was convenient with good access to amenities and transportation.
Admission
The admission process for my course was pretty straightforward. To be eligible, I needed to have a certain percentage in my previous education, and I found this information on the college website.I didn't avail any reservation benefits, but the details were available for those who needed them.One thing I didn't like about the admission process was the lack of clarity in communication.
