What Students Say

Likes

Indoor stadium of our college is the best place
Our college basketball court is also good
Our college library is a very good place

Dislikes

Our college washrooms are not that much good
In our college there are many facilities are not that good
In our college buses are not coming in right time

Course Curriculum Overview

It's my choice to select and built career in it. NIST provides us better library, study environment so that's why we can read about our career development. NIST needs to improve in others some games etc .All are fine . Exams always held on time .we don't face any type of problems during exams.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

TFW is the best scholarship to reduce the fees at NIST. The complete cost is about 495000 after TFW but there is no TFW for Bsc. All type of government like odisha and central board all scholarship are available at NIST. NOO I don't get anything.

Campus Life

4.5

Always in a single month there are many seminars held and the best festival at NIST is SANKALP. All types of journal and books are available at NIST Library. Light fan projector are available in all rooms to serve the best education to students. The sports activities are also at NIST ,there is an indoor stadium in campus that is encouraging students towards sports. Also clubs are at NIST about 20 clubs present.

Admission

Passed plus 2 science minimum have 55 percentage. You can find the application form , application feesand application dates from SAMS site that is authorised by odisha govt. Reservation means it's sure that you have confirmed your seat at NIST. Exams held always on time. Don't need to improve anything all are good.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.
