- Our curriculum is quite interesting which draws our attention more towards our course.
- Library has a good diversity of books and it's a decent place to study. Its spacious and quiet .
- Infrastructure is quite nice and has different playgrounds for different games to play
Dislikes
- The location where the college is situated is not safe at all . Its in the mid of highway with no market nearby. We have encountered cases of robbery like of phone and gold chain by now and it's not even an year completed here .
- Food of hostel is hygiene but not nutritious as they have very less green vegetables in their menu
- In my opinion, college tries to draw as much money as they can from the students .
Course Curriculum Overview
We are taught both about anesthesia and management of operation theatre . We have learnt using bp machine and how to make sutures in our practicals . Such kind of things give us the idea of handling things in the real world and draws our more attention towards this course. There should be consideration about taking more practicals and starting hospit visits for better understanding of things according to me . Exams are moderately difficult and 3 mid term exams are held before taking the final exams which are too taken with proper checking and strictness to avoid any foul means by anyone .
Internships Opportunities
As our course is new here , so I haven't heard about placements for our course but yeah I've seen that many companies come for placements for students of other companies. The placement cell helps the students to clear those interviews
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure for our course is reasonable but is added with extra charges like about 3000 for exams fees required for exams in each semester, 3000 for uniform , compulsorly purchase of practicals from college campus only etc . There are scholarships available for students and scholarship cell also helps them . As our course in new in this college so I've no idea about placements of our course through this college but by considering placement opportunities for other courses ,I hope we'll surely get one.
Campus Life
There are many co curricular activities being held in our college from time to time . Annually we have grand events like aagaz , shrishti, udaan etc . Technical events are also held like quiz competitions , coding etc . We have 2 libraries in our college and the range of books there is also diverse. Sports are held in our college from time to time . Sometimes there is tennis competition , football league , weightlifting, turban tying etc .
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is quite moderate . We have got a 4-tier spacious room with attached washroom with geyser facility. We have got separate almirahs and tables. There's also balcony with each room. Meal quality is good but it's not that appetizing . Menu needs to add more veggies in our diet which is not there. Otherwise everything is good.
Admission
For this course,one has to clear 12th in medical. One can find the application forms via collegedunia's website or via platforms like Instagram , Facebook etc. I did my application by visiting their office which is located at canal road jammu, opp. Lane to Science college . I personally like the way they assisted throughout the process . The college they suggested were very good in overall ranking and other aspects . Global group of institutes is a decent college too. They have exams and assignments throughout the semesters. They conduct 3 mid term exams and then final exams ,whose difficulty level is moderate. I personally didn't find anymore areas for improvement in the admission process. Their Every system is smooth and trustworthy.
