Likes

Infrastructure is very good as there are different building for different branches
Faculties are good as they know all about the latest technologies
Placement is good as it has the highest package of 24 lakhs

Dislikes

The campus life is decent as there are classes from 10am to 5pm
It will be little difficult to manage time if you are learning soome thing extra
In some places in there are no street light in campus

Course Curriculum Overview

course curricluiim is good and interactive. Course have praticle knowledge for real worlds ascepts but it also has some theory for exams preparations. it has always updated the course according to teh current trend

There are many intership offers offred by different companies such as PWC Saleforce, Infobyte, ByteIQ, and many more. For getting the internship you have to make projects as per your feilds as i am currently workiing on data science feild

Placement Experience

From 7th semester onwards you are eligible for campus placements. Recently many companies have visited in our campus such as knowledgelens, byteiq, tcs, happiestmind technologies and many more. Highest package deliverd this year was 24 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is anually 119000 indian rupees including all the ectra charges such as tution, services fees. The scholarship is given according to the merit of of ojee and jee mains. goverement scholarship is also avilable for meritious students

Campus Life

There is the biggest annual fest called Sankalp in south odisha, there are 24 diffrent club which conducts there event regularly. There is access to the library to all upto 8 pm . There are different opportunities for the sports as there is indoor stadium which has badmintion, basketball and many more

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilty is very good. there are 2 hostel HR1 and HR2. In the there are bed and tables for 4 people. Meal is decent as i would give it 3 stars. Total fees for hostel is 25000 anually with including all the bills such as electicity etc

student should must appear jee mains and applu for ojee councling to get admission in our college applicatin fees is 1500 reservation is also avilable if you eligible you can apply for it.difficulty level is medium

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

A journey that will help you learn a lot.

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

As i didn't score much in my entrance exams I had to opt for tier 2-3 colleges from which as i am from odisha and many of my realtives and friends suggested NIST University. I did apply many other colleges manually and got offers but as NIST was close to my native place i chose this over others. My College Life.

I didn't applied in any other colleges. I joined this college because the rules and regulations and the faculty members are good. The college provides an average placement of 9 LPA to the students and placements of highest package 25 laksh in MNCs like Accenture,Tata,Texas Instruments etc. To get admission in my college a student have to clear JEE exam with a good percentile and have to book seat and then have to wait for the joining list to be released by the college once it is released the student can get admission by paying the joining fees on the joining date...Read More
