Remarks

There are a lot of goods that I have written about in my review. Some things that I'd like to add is the library that is available at every academic block along with a central library. I also like the fact that the security is tight to keep out drugs and stuff. As for the bad: The university online student management system is bad as at times the site becomes unresponsive. Sometimes the security is just too tight.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Something that I have found amazing here is the course curriculum, it is changed/updated every year to adjust to the needs of the society and companies. I really like this as most universities stick to a single curriculum which may or may not be necessary for the companies and society. Of course, most of the curriculum is to help you get placed with a cut above than others so that you are preferred.

Internships Opportunities

The college doesn't provide any internship or anything as of now maybe in the future I don't know. But yes they do allow third parties like internshala to help the students. There is also campus representatives of internshala. Other than that you are also asked to go to a company for the internship at the end of your 2nd Year and provide a certificate which is necessary to move on to 3rd year. The university helps you with every procedure for applying for the internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements and job opportunities are really nice and improve with every year. Here the course curriculum is based to help you get placed so they really worry about your placements. They constantly bring new and better companies for the placements.

College Events

4.5

There are a lot of events that are organized in the college you have at least one event every month. Apart from all the minor events there are three major events that are held every year- Freshers Party, Tech-Fest and CU-Fest. All three of these span for a over a week with many competitions, programs etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible given the experience and service you are gonna get here. At my time of admission, it is okayish compared to other private universities. Since the fees are changed every year I can't really comment about the fee structure at your time of admission. Besides, you can always avail scholarship if you work hard.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships offered for the students at the time of admission but you need to maintain a minimum of 7.5 CGPA at the end of the year to carry forward to next year. Loan facility is also available by many banks at the time of counseling to ease the procedure.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is very diverse as there are students from all over India, there are also students from other countries. The gender ratio is also quite good. There are many grounds but not up to the standard as they should be but since they are improving it maybe they might be good at the time of your admission, but right now (2018) not as good but not bad either. As for competitions, there are many sports events held throughout the year. There are many co-curricular activities held as well and you can participate in anything you want. Labs are well equipped. If you are a gamer then there are events held for you as well.

Alumni/Alumna

You can contact any alumni that have registered themselves to help you. Senior students are also very helping and understanding.

Admission

I applied for the college through my JEE-Mains score. Once i had filled out the online form a representative called me and cleared all my doubts about the admission procedure, fees and etc. After I had confirmed that I will take admission I had to purchase a brochure for Rs.1000 after that I had the liberty of paying the fees on the day of counselling, which had a lot of flexible dates. On the day of counselling things were pretty easy as they had arranged transportation from the railway station to the university. Once in the university it was all a piece of cake if you have all the documents necessary. The necessary documents would be told to you by the representative that talked to you earlier and if you have to apply for any scholarship you need to apply at the time of counselling. There are various scholarships available based don your class 12 scores, defence, JEE Mains score, CUCAT, SC/ST etc. You also need to apply for the hostel at the time of counselling but since the seats are limited you should not delay for hostel.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties of the college are really good of course there are some exceptions here and there, but mostly all the faculty is concerned about you and your future.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
