Comfort in classroom and teaching methods
Teacher staff and placement offers and faculty is very good
Course covers in time to time and infrastructure is very good

The water supply is very poor soo need to improve
In campus need to improvement in nature and plant some tree

The specific curriculum influences my decision is the way of teaching style in our college,in our college the curriculum prepares us for real world application, no in the areas course curriculum and teaching methods is best , no there is no difficulty in the exam timings.

Internships Opportunities

Infosys is come in past 3 years in our college and the new intern above 50 percentage students are placement in Wipro company in this year and our college give best placements after covid the company is are that much regular in terms for placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is enough to the students, I am also a tfw student of my college its very easy. 180000 is my complete cost including all fees .all of the scholarships are available for the students.the campus employment is in our upcoming year .

Campus Life

Bloom is our annual function name , in a year we have freshers party and one tech fest is there .all engineering books are available in our Library.air conditioner is available in our room . Sports activities are many types of in our college.

Admission

After jee main otherwise o jee , from the college office, there is 2 internal exam between each semester than surprise test and quiz test , everything is fine nothing need to be improve in process in our college admission process

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based
Infrastructure of collage is just excellent and view is stunning
The playground facility is excellent and love to play different games

Lab facilities of this university is not good and ordered
Placement scenario is not fair and political affair is including

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

From sixth semester you are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are Tata power, Adani, OPTCL and others.The highest package for electrical engineering is 10 lacs. 60percent marks is required for getting placement.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

My College Review

First, when I set a mind about pursuing BCA, my first choice was to try and find colleges in our area/district that offer BCA & have a good reputation. Also for many like me, course fees are an important factor while considering colleges to join and here at Rocks (Roland institute of computer and management studies), the fees are really quite affordable compared to outside colleges. In Berhampur itself Many colleges out there like imperial & presidency college offer the same curriculum with nearly or for a little higher fees but in comparison of all other categories from teaching staff to lab facilities to the sincerity of lectures is probably best....Read More
