Hostel students play music at night which disturbs sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is same as that of NITs IITs hence it quite relevant because it is designed in a manner that every engineer should know every aspects of engineering whether it computer science or not it is same in first year and it is good in next semesters as well.

Class Size: 105Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

7th semester onwards they are given placements Capgemini, Accenture, kpmg, tcs,nagarro, Deloitte,Amazon visit everytime on campus 95% students get placements,. Highest package is off 44 lakhs and average 5 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes it is available for those who are financially unstable and they provide some special facilities to sports students they have reserved quotas and their fees is slightly different from ours like they have to pay half of the fees of hostels

Campus Life

Everything is good like they have many societies to join like ecell, mentorle, cess. It has amazing sports grounds, swimming pool Gndu got trophy for their excellence in sports for 25th time from president of INDIA

Hostel Facilities

Girls Hostel has mess ,computer room, medical room, sports room and canteens but boys hostel has only mess and meal quality is good. Rooms only has fans but you can bring coolers and pay them 500 per month.

Hostel Fee: INR 26000 per year

Admission

Admission process was JEE mains based I scored 84 percentile overall and cutoff is 82 percentile approx but it depends upon number of seats filled. Admission process is through physical counselling instead of online counselling through marks

Chandigarh university , but for real

Likes

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

campus life and social interactionn : the campus is large and active with many clubs events hackathons and activities students get good opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds and participate iin extrracurricular activities.
faculty and teaching: faculty is experienced and mixed Some teachers have good subject knowledge and are supportive while teaching quality can vary between subjects.
placement and career support: the university provides opportunities and conducts recruitment for drives forn students.

Placement Experience:

IN our college students get placement form 3rd year onwards that is from 6th sem like university provides the students to sit in the placements and many good companies visit like amazon googler infosys tcs and all big recruiters and the highest package is upto 55lacks and ath average package of CSE id 8 to 9 lacks per annum and the placement rate is upto 100 percent.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. Likes

The most appreciated aspect was the quality of teaching in classroom. There were structured planning for studies and exam preparations.
The campus was peaceful and the college celebrated every cultural event very enthusiatically covering interest of students belonging from various traditional backgrounds across India.
There was wide spread interest both from students and faculty side for promoting extra cirricular activites and talent.

Dislikes

The way a student raises a complain can be improved.
To allot extra hours for extra acirricular activites.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great for tech and core domains. Alomost every students gets to sit in placement following the eligibilty critera. Many students get double placed and there is a placement policy which allows fare chances of placement to every student.

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

Basically, I heard about this university from my friends and then I filled online form for the entrance test. this entrance is based on the +2 syllabus .. around 2000 students fill this test and around 200-300 will take good ranks and take admissions.
