Study environment, the environment is student friendly
Travel facilities is provided 4 times in a day
Library facilities is very good and updated

Dislikes

The college hours is very long upto 8 hrs.
The canteen food facilities is not so good
The campus is not very large and no such extra facilities provided for free time

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is updated. It is designed as per industrial requirements, the institute focus on only practice based learning.Now it is a University so a new syllabus will be implemented soon .

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For regular students join through JEE / OJEE or other state board exams including travel expenses & fees is 1,21,500 . For the highscored rank students the fees will reduce according to their score. Mess fees will also added for the hostellers.

Campus Life

There is a good environment for the students. There are lots of events are conducted each week. various clubs are there for improving their skill. for literature development Eureka club is there, for coding data science & cloud computing & like that 22 clubs are there.

Admission

Our college take addmission for 12 th pass students through JEE score,and for diploma pass out students through OJEE score.Some others state board entrance exam score is also expected. The JEE or Other entrance score is not so high as compared to other.

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The excellent university of odisha

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Life at NIST

As i didn't score much in my entrance exams I had to opt for tier 2-3 colleges from which as i am from odisha and many of my realtives and friends suggested NIST University. My College Life.

I didn't applied in any other colleges. I joined this college because the rules and regulations and the faculty members are good. The college provides an average placement of 9 LPA to the students and placements of highest package 25 laksh in MNCs like Accenture,Tata,Texas Instruments etc. To get admission in my college a student have to clear JEE exam with a good percentile and have to book seat and then have to wait for the joining list to be released by the college once it is released the student can get admission by paying the joining fees on the joining date...Read More
