The bachelor of business administration (BBA) influenced me to get knowledge about business as i have interest in business.the course helped me to know all over aspects of business.it shows how a business can be done.it gives us advantages and disadvantages of business.in this course under calicut university the course curriculum should need to focus on basic practical methords.As exams are planned and conducted on time and difficulty level is moderate

Internships Opportunities

I haven't got any internships provided under my college.but i have searched and find internship as an accountant with computerised accounting with tally software .the main task of this program to filing of gst.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the 1,3,5 semesters the fee was about 12000. In 2,4,6 semesters the fee was around 9000. There was certain fees additional for exams it costs almost 500 per semester.i have costed almost 90000 for successfull course completion.There are many scholarships on lower income group.I didn't avail such scholarships so im not known about scholarships.i have not undertaken any jobroles

Campus Life

The infrastructure of college was amazing.there are wide collections of books. Focused mainly in football in sports .many clubs like NSS,English club ,sports club are formed for better practice for students

Admission

There is no entrance examinations.i have applied by online portal of calicut university.there have been many allotments.in the second allotment i have got admission in kmo arts and science college under the calicut university.the eligibility for admission is above 60% in higher secondary exam.admission fee takes almost around 13000.i have secured reservation under OBC MUSLIM.the exams are conducted between 6 months.there are 6 semesters for 3 years.at the time of admission you need to add all your certificates and gracemark.it improve chance of getting admission

My Experience at the university

Likes

I personally loved the campus environment, it's in the complete hilly area. We have very clean hostel facilities for both girls and boys separately. Gym facility is also there. Boys and girls ratio is 6:4
The acadmic staff is too good, there're quite friendly and supportive, they also teach very well, regular internals and assignments are given. The class room is also spacious, no uncomfort.
The matrons (non academic staff) are also so friendly, we have help desk for any related queries, the best quality of this university is they listen to what students want and need, if it is needed they'll surely make the change.

Dislikes

As I'm a non malayali in kerala university, I felt little uncomfortable at start, as most of the staff members and students are communicating in Malayalam.
Apart from gym, we really don't have a great facilities for physical activities, there is one ground but it's not in a good condition. Not every faculty is so good, few teachers will not teach in english they use their mother tounge.
Basically the university is still under construction, that's why we frequently get disturbed by the construction noice.

Placement Experience:

Since I'm in the 1st semester, i really don't have a great idea about the placements but as far as I know Chinmaya Vishwa vidyapeeth university has their dedicated training, placement and corporate relations center. The highest package was 7 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average package might be 4 LPA. Nike, mastek are the few companies who came to recruit After completing my degree, i might go for a job and then complete my PG.

One thing to mention is the cleanliness of the college which is absolutely something we have to appreciate! The bathrooms and the classrooms are always clean and well sanitized
Similarly the hostel bathroom bedrooms and the corridors are also spotless.
the faculty members are amazing..they teach with dedication especially prajith sir who deals with business statistic and logic in bba first sem

Dislikes

When we join this college they told us there would be buggy services for out transportion to the gate to hostel incase if we wanted to go outside or anywhere but in reality there is no such services..when we request it security always deny.
Securities always deny and dont not consider our request for buggy they always makes the excuse that the higher authorities would scold them and all
The hostel food is trash.some days like sunday dinner and wednesday dinner are absolutely flavorless and bland we often does not eat on thoses days and we sleep on a empty stomach.

Course Curriculum Overview:

soem subjects i feel very unnecessary are IKS and SANSKIRT..even so collectively speaking nobody understands the reason why they are being asked to learn iks(Indian knowledge system).and for sanskirt we could argue its a language and learning it would be some consideration a skillset but even though if that is the case we mustn't force somebody to learn it.it should be a choice

My College Experience : The Ups and Downs

Likes

There teacher's positive and friendly behaviour is very good.
this college providing college bus. and final year students are travelling without fee.
In this college, studentrs can interact all persons. Becouse this college is staying in a village.

Dislikes

In this college there no canteen facility.So students are want to go outside stores
The Private bus are not on time. Similarly, the raiway gate will be closed for half an hour due to the passing of the train.
library is not open every days and collection of books is very poor.

After my plus two I'm choosing b.com degree for my carrier. That was the college is Calicut University. Calicut University is well famous college in our City. Teachers and students are very friendly.
