Course Curriculum Overview
I think for people with commere background in 12 standard Bcom is a good option to purse as it gives to knowledge about various subjects like accounts , encomics , business etc. But I feel the course is not very much job oriented or you don't get a good job just after doing Bcom. In Dav we use have 6 semester of 6 months each and in end of every semester we use to have exams and the level of exam was also moderate . An average students can easily clear all the exams
Placement Experience
The college do provides campus placement to the students. But the annual packages companies used to give is not too good. Very few companies good package comes to the college. In the last year you became eligible for placement. 20-40 got placements and joined the companies . Many students were not interested.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee per year was around 25000 ruppee and we also need to 3000 as examtion fees every semester .Dav College Chandigarh also provides campus placement . Companies come to the college and interviews are done for selecting of candidates. The average package companies used to provide was around 3 lakhs per year
Campus Life
My overall experience with the college was really great. Various fest and programs happen in college in various performance are done . The campus of college is also quite good . There are different grounds . There are 2 canteens . The classrooms are also quite well. College also have various tyoes of clubs that a student can join
Admission
The whole admission process was online .There is a side of dhe on which you need you apply and selection os done on the bases of marks scored in class 12 . There are 3 counsellings and if your marks are above the cutoff you get your name in the list . Details regarding the admisy procedure are published by the college in their brochure. Its not a tough job to fill the form and get admission bif you have got enough marks.
