Remarks

The college management is really good, working very actively to enhance the quality of the system as well as to develop resources.

Entrance Preview

I took Don Bosco's MSW entrance exam in 2009 and scored above 90 % and come out in first position in general merit list and I opted the college for my MSW studies .

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum followed by the college is approved by University of Kannur and its mixture is found very well with all academic aspects. The focus for research option seems little less the elective offered by the college is extremely well since no any collge in Kerala offers MSW HRM option as elective .

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunity provided by the institute was really good. The college tried well to get better intern placements.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunity is not so good to say, since the course demand in the state seems not very good some times. There were hardly no any in campus placement option available. The college should specific initiatives to bring outside recruiters in the campus and final training to the students has to be given .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was affordable for an average student each semester was charged around 20000 INR. All to gether the cost was comes around 2 to 3 laks for competing the course with field trips and academic books purchase. The fee for lab, exams and library was included but annual trip and study materials cost were not covered .

Fees and Financial Aid

There were no much scholarship schemes that time. The fecilitation from the part of college for educational loans asiistance was fare and good .

Campus Life

The campus was rich and good in gender and religious diversity. The system training with the college was really good. The clubs and associations for different causes was functioned we and good. The cooperation among the nearby community institutions was also really appreciated.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel and food provided by the college was decent and good. The system of mess, hostel and canteen was really good since they make students self responsible and hygienic in practice. The quality of meals served was extremely healthy and nutritious.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The college was conducting annual alumna meet and get together programme rarely. The area is to be improved and regular alumina interaction has to be boosted.

Exam Structure

Exam structure and valuation was found good and well. The timely conducting of examinations was a high point with the college. The result publication was with university. The due occurred only at there. Timely valuation was done by the expert faculties .

The standard of faculties in the college is average. The mixture of male female as well as doctorate and just qualified was not upto the mark. Industrial experienced faculties were less. The faculties with good research as well as industrial experience sh

MY CAMPUS

Likes

Qualified Faculties: Almost all of them are temporary staff which increases the quality of the class
Department Library facility : There is a separate section for each department reference books inside the library
Indoor Stadium: Useful for morning workouts etc

Dislikes

Swimming pools were not allowed for every students
Libraries will be only working till 6:00pm.
Lack of opportunities in field of extra curricular activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the syllabus is much concentrated on kerala history and heritage studies part. So this will enrich the ideas about museums, different archaeological sites in kerala,and also field visits are there as part of the course which will increse your practical knowledge as well as theoratical part.

Likes

Infrastructure of the institution is very good
The faculties are very good and they will help in many ways
The composition of the institution is nice, because of the representation of almost all states of the country.

Dislikes

The food provided in the hostel mess is not that much good
The fees structure is complex and we have to pay more than 25000 for a pg even it is a govt. Institution
The hierarchy is very complex and there are many posts unnecessarily

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm studying public administration and public policy and the scope of the course is less. Public policy has some scope but when it comes to public administration there is no scope. The placement is also less.

Remarks:

The college's atmosphere is very good for the studies and every student feels comfortable inside the campus. A proper facility of every needful material is provided by the college authority. Every staff is cooperative and education quality of the college is up to a very specific mark.

Arts college in all around

Remarks:

Best college in tvm to pursue MA english in tvm. Better than other two famous colleges in Tvm central. Govt arts college stand out with an equillibrium maintained both in academics and other fields. Last year the first two ranks in MA English in kerala university is received by my seniors.

The college is not that much good. The principal of the college is the most worst thing in that college. He is an uneducated idiot who have an arregent behaviour. The college teaching staff are also not that much good. Most of them are not eligible yo trach in a college.

Its a very good college

Remarks:

I did an MA in literature from the Sree Sankara College. It was a pretty awesome two years, which went by just like that. I really miss all those days where it was about learning and exploring. The academics and quality of teaching are good.

Everything is postive about the college. The college chief officer mr kk or Krishna kumar is an awesome person who understands the needs of the students. He is so soft spoken and spiritual that he can enlighten students with just his calm demeanor and happy voice. Great man with a calm personality.
