What Students Say

Likes

Good environment , supportive staff and a coexisting thoughts and opinions.good curriculum and teaching and the usage of technology in the classes and labs has affected our way of learning in a better way.
Good no.of projects and ideas are supported and an overall skill development
Extra circular activities like culturals, sports etc are encouraged.

Dislikes

Limited freedom for the student.no access to some personal equipment
The canteen and cafeteria are not so developed.
Infrastructure needs to be promoted more.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Electronics and Computer engineering.so this course is basically about the concept of understanding both hardware and software fields. This course prepares us to face the hardtime situations and the curriculum is designed well to understand.i would like to excel in the course and grab a job by the end.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 56000 per year

Internships Opportunities

A decent amount of internship opportunities are offered .some of those companies are Microsoft, TCS, aicte and so on..The stipend varies from your state of level to their assessment.Freshers are offered up to 10k stipend.Projects are based on the domain we opt for.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester itself we get offered with a campus placement if we are good enough to get filtered. Some of the companies are Amazon, tech Mahindra...the avg highest package can be from 30 to 40lpa.students getting placed are 70%.my planning after getting my degree is to pursue any product based company based on the future state.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is affordable even for a low to middle class family. If we combine all the expense fee it would make up to 65-70k per year for the counseling students.in the employment category, the college is bringing good placements to the students creating good chances learning.

Campus Life

The campus life of VIIT is good. Many activities are fun and are held in a good season.A huge fest named yuvatarang is held which is the most important and fun for the students. The library is good and sports are good to go.

Admission

The admission process for joining VIIT was pretty decent I would say.For the eligibility of the course we need to hold a avg eamcet rank based on the importance of the course.Even 30% of the marks of jee are considered.so an average to below average student can get into the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got civil engineering in my college. As our country is in developing mode the role of civil engineers is going to be crucial. The interdisplinary subjects prepare us for the challenges faced other than civil engineering.each month we have a exam to be specific 2 minors 1 mid term and 1 end term examination.the difficulty level is somewhat moderate. If we thoroughly go through teachers's notes and practice a few problems it is going to be very helpful

My experience at Vignan's Institute Of Information Technology

Our college give the admissions to the students in two ways. one is through AP EAMCET and the other is management quota. For AP EAMCET we have to write the exam conducted by the AP government. if you get the good rank, you will get admission in our college. The cut off ranks changes every year. Through management quota, we donot have any exams like group discussions, paper test. Simply we need to pay the fee. I chose this college because of its placement percentage. The college has the good training placement cell. They try every way to get companies to the colleges. They conduct the sessions to the students to get place in companies....Read More
