The class atmosphere of my department was so cool.
My hostel friends made my college life a vibe.
My peers and teachers enhanced my learning experience and also had a lot of fun.

Dislikes

Some stands took by the management was not welcoming.
The management of garden in the campus destroyed it's natural beauty
The hostel timings for both boys and girls.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very relevant and up to date. The aspects of language and historical contexts are well structured in the syllabus. The teaching methods are similar as in other institutions. Providing smart class will be a great help in future.

The internship opportunities provided are varying according to each department. In arts block, the internship was provided according to student's will and was not mandatory. For further details contact the incharge department official.

Placement Experience

The college placement cell is very active and always put their best in providing placement to the students. Last year more than four hundred students were placed in different companies and cities like Bangalore, chennai and Hyderabad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college administers as an autonomous body which works under the calicut university. The fee structure in the college varies according to aided and self financing courses. The fee details are available on the website.

Campus Life

The campus is not only an amicable place to study but also a space to explore ourselves. The club activities including NSS and NCC are very appreciable. The faculty members and students put their best efforts to improve the clubs in every year.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are not bad. A small room where 2 persons can accommodate. The bathroom and toilet are nearer to rooms and are easy accessible. The food that the mess provide is also good. Other than the college hostels pgs are available but i prefer college hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 4000 per year

Admission

The course is open for students who have completed 12th grade in any stream. You can find the application form and admission brochure in the site. As the course us self financed, merit seats and management seats are divided. The exams will be conducted on time.

A practical choice with quality education

Likes

Firstly i likes the campus its very beautiful and naturally buided
Second i love the central library of our college its amazing.
Third i like the infrastructure of our college its perfectly balanced.

Dislikes

I didn’t like the restroom of our college its good not perfect one.
Second I didn’t like the some classroom its very old model.
Third I didn’t like the bathroom structure its not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculam as moderatly relevent and fairly good .which is one of the main reason i choose this course . And i am very passionate about history teaching method and i want to become a history teacher these was the main reasons i choose the course.

the university is eco friendly and supports sustainable development and has better infrastructure and high technological facilities and equipments
the university has well qualified facility and experienced staffs which is very good for the peers
the university has lots of solar panel which is very important to maintain sustainable development it also saves electricity

Dislikes

as well it is a developing university there are lot of construction works taking place around so the sound of these works are bit noisy
the transportation facility in the university for hostel students are not working properly and staffs who drive the buggies does not pick up the students until they ask them to
as the university is placed in a hill top it is difficult for most of the students to reach here and also it is a rural area so it has its own limits

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Actually this course is a better choiche for those who wants to be a teacher in English. Because it gives us dual degrees which normally takes a time period of 6 to 7 years to complete. So it is really good course

Likes

My college has a tradition of 103 years of legacy
The campus is very clean and tidy and provide a green scenery
The building in the old model is the most beautiful.

Dislikes

Being an old building, there is no technological development
Seminar halls are not available in all departments.
Hostel time restriction has been placed. That is why it is difficult to be a student

The college placement and career guidance cell is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resourses to empower students in making informed career decisions, bridging gap between education and employment opportunities. With a strong network of industry connection, the actively facilitates internship, job placement and workshop. Sheethal mam is incharge of placement cell. Many job drives and companies were corporate with college and students. The average package is 25000 for undergraduate students.

I visited more organisations and human centres such as "Shanti Bavanam". And "Wecare". This college gives so many placements to students in so many companies the number of students getting placements is more than 85 percentage

Admission:

This university is entirely based on art and culture for getting admission here I gave an aptitude test and then interview. Total marks for both was 75 50 for test and 25 for interview.. questions were basic if we used your analysis power.

Actually in my college there is no entrance exam in my course, I chose this course (BA economics) because of my parents advice and I know how this course is important in the future I got admission on the merits basis. I got an admission card from the college. So there is no other procedures, admission based on plus two marks.
