What Students Say

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of our college most. As it is situated at the hill area, so it looks soo beautiful
I also liked the placements of our college and the process of getting that opportunity
I liked the teaching process and the practical part of that

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is very good and relevant for everyone. Every unit of the curriculum is very important and easy to learn as the professors try their best every time. The problems which we solve in the classes are very much important for the real world applications. Every problem connect us with the real world.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 136950 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provides the very exciting internships to the students. Students are requested to prepare 8 to 9 projects on different topics soo the most compatible projects should be picked up according to company. Recently college provided the internship to some students at aries at dev sthal nainital. Also one student got internship at microsoft with 1.25 lakh per month.

Placement Experience

4.5

College placements and internships are provided to the students. Students become eligible for internships from 6th Or 7th semester and also become eligible for placements from last year. Companies provide very exciting offers to the students. Students have got placed in the companies like AMAZON, Walmart, Infosys, Samsung, Microsoft and many others. Recently one students got internship of 1.25 lakh per month in Microsoft in his 5th semester. Some mechanical branch students also got placements in the reputed companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is very simple. Soo many scolerships are provided to the students. If you are having high percentage in your intermediate your scolership will be higher, also if you belongs to the hill areas or residential of uttarakhand you will get scolership for this also. If you are financially not well, you can also apply for the education loan for your whole course duration.

Campus Life

My overall experience with college life is going very good currently. College organizes soo many events, competitions, and sports events. Fest is also organized every year and everyone enjoys it. In the big classrooms speakers are provided, books and magazines are also available in campus library. To improve your skills college also provide soo many clubs like NSS, NCC, robotics club, hacking club, dance and singing clubs and etc.

Admission

I am pursuing the btech cse from GEHU bhimtal campus. Any of the student can apply for the course and the students with above 70% can get the scolership. The more your score in 12th and JEE exams, more you will get the scolership. You can find the application form, fees structure, and admission dates on the official website of graphic era hill university.

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Likes

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

A candid review of my 3 years over graphic Era hill University Bhimtal.

I applied for the graphic Era hill University Dehradun, which is one of the branch of our university but however the placement and curriculum was almost same that's why I choose the campus which is close and next to me. As of regections, I did not get rejection due to limited application for colleges. The admission is quite easy where you need to submit the documents like marksheet, medical certificate, transfer and migration certificate, and a sum of fee to get your confirmation on admission. There is 1500 registration fee to get your seats confirmed for the selected course. Well there is no specific criteria for cut-off....Read More

My College Experience

I had to choose this college as I was very late for an admission and this college was providing me a seat even after 4 months of admission date. I didn't apply for any other college as I was preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced. I was not rejected from any other college, I just didn't scored enough to get an admission. For admission in my college, they simply ask you some questions (interview sort of) and tell you the fees structure and then you can opt easily for your desired course. The eligibility criteria is 10+2 result, they also see your CUET score and JEE score before the admission. Admission experience was good....Read More
