The curriculum is setup by the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The Curriculum is a but outdated as compared to other autonomous universities but still covers the fundamentals in engineering. Improvements can be made by including modern and trending technologies.

From the second year onwards, students have the opportunity to pursue internships, facilitated by the college. An internship leave of one month is provided, with the option for additional leaves if necessary. Students can explore internships at esteemed institutions such as IITS, NITS, VSSC, IIST, ULCCS, among others, by applying through their respective portals.

The college's placement record is commendable, especially for circuit branches such as computer science, electrical engineering and electronics boasting a placement rate of approximately 75 to 80 percent, with an average annual salary of 650,000. Furthermore, graduates from these departments enjoy excellent employability prospects, with avenues to pursue government positions through exams conducted by UPSC or SSC. Additionally, opportunities abound for post-graduation studies via GATE Examination, further enhancing career prospects.

The fee per semester is rupees 8500 per semester for general students. Various scholarships like e-grantz are available for deserving students that allow leverages in fee payment. An active scholarship cell is setup in the college that provides help for the students. An Internship and Part time Job cell is also available in the college.

As a resident of the government Men's hostel(MH), I appreciate the accommodation provided, which consists of well-maintained two-sharing rooms equipped with a common bathroom and toilet facilities. The cleanliness is diligently maintained by daily cleaning staff and it perfectly excellent. Additionally, the hostel boasts its own gym and playground, offering amenities for various sports including volleyball, badminton, football and cricket. The food served is delectable, featuring non-vegetarian options three times a week, which adds to the overall satisfaction. Moreover, there's a monthly grand feast that further enhances the dining experience.

The admission process is through KEAM entrance exam. The syllabus for the exam includes 2 papers, first paper with physics and chemistry and second paper of Mathematics. Reservations are available for EWS and SC/ST students.
