Course Curriculum Overview
The course of curriculum of the chemical engineering at iit ropar is highly regarded as both relavant and comprehensive.What attracted me to the course is main focus on core chemical engineering principle.the courses make you ready for the real jobs and including hand on activities like lab works and internships.the helps a lot is you are prepering for higher studies.to make it even better they could add classes they mixes with other types of engineering and talk more about eco friendly solution.Also doing more projects and working with any of the companies will give a better experience and also you get experties in management.the frequency and the timing of the exams is according to the academic calender,there are regular assignments and mid semester exan and also end sem examination at the end of the semester
Placement Experience
you get placements in 4th year.many companies based on core and non core visite our college for the placenet oppurtinities for the students. the placement rate is also better in our college in comparitive to all other tier 2 colleges.the highest packages of last year is 55 lpa and average is approx 20lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
the overall fees structure of 4-year btech is given in the official website of the iit ropar,but there is relaxation in the of 0 tution fees of sc/st students and also for the student having parental income less than 1 lakh.the college also provides many scholerships to all those students which are doing well in academics and other activites.

there are many fests which are celbrated in our college which includes zeitgeist(cultural fest ),Advitya(technical fest).Aarohan(sports fest),Revlanche(Esportz fest),Malhar(literature fest), All types of books is provides by the library of iit ropar,
Hostel Facilities
The facility they proivide in the hostel and mess is excellent.There are two student in a single room.the messing fees and hostel fees is also very affordable.you can easily get any hostel or pg in ropar.but you are suggested to live in college hostels
Admission
for eligibility at iit ropar,you have to clear the jee mains and jee advanced exams. you can find the application form and all application fees and dates on the website of jossa.As per Sc candidate you may be reservation benefits as per the government norms,which can include relaxed eligibility criteria and additinal seats are reserved for the sc candiates The exams of jee mains conducted two times in a year and the exam of jee advanced is conducted only one time in a year and also there is crieteria that you can give the exam of jee advanced in two consecutive year once in 12th and second after 12th.The frequency allows student to mulltiple chances to improve their scores or attempt the exam if they missed or scores low.However the diffculty level of the exam is considered to be very high level ,it is just because of high competetive nature and and vast syllabus they cover. the improvementis taken by the adminstrition is that they student mentorship program for aspiring tudent.
