Course Curriculum Overview

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Class Size: 47Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 10000 per year, don't know much about scholarships, there's no placement opportunities for architecture course. We have to buy many stuffs for this course which are very expensive and sometimes can't brme affordable

Campus Life

College of engineering trivandrum is a government college and hence it's all in the students hands. There are many clubs and activities and the college is full on powers in terms of events. library had a wide range of books.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room facilities are poor, maintenance issues arise, meal quality is good, hostel fees is affordable and we can take mess cuts and the amount will be reduced accordingly. Overall mess food is good .

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

I wrote KEAM ENTRANCE EXAM and got admission. We had to go to the alloted college and get the admission process done . Many stages of allotment was there. Admission process area can be more organised.

life in a campus

Admission:

The admission process of the college was help on the basis of test in which I appeared. The tests were KEAM and NATA. Online forms come every year through which a student got the chance to take admission in such a reputed college.

Admission:

Selection to B.Arch programme is based purely on merit. Selection will be done by SSA giving due weightage to the marks obtained in 10+2 examination and the NATA score. Merit is the only criterion for selection.

Remarks:

The College and College hostel won't let them use phones. Even though phones are allowed in hostels as per government rule. The College is a little strict and still treats us like school students. But the College is free in some terms but controlled a lot.

My college is not so good to live a life in college. It is okay just for study and not for any extra curricular activities so i dont actually prefer my college for a creative student who wants to explore.

Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank. To get other courses in my college you can have rank as low as 20k....Read More

Good the questions are well organised and quality of questions were good
