'Vanajam' provide entertainment an peacefull place.
There is a river near college.It is so nice.
Faculty members are providing more mental support in studying.

Dislikes

Getting to college is a bit difficult.the college is inland from the town
Sometimes,outbreak of strike badly affect studies

Course Curriculum Overview

After 10 th I have choosen humanities as my higher education.So I prefer political science but unfortunately I got admission in BA History.At the begining I felt little bit difficult.Then my faculty members helped me a lot.Then I felt comfort.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee was comparatively affordable.At the joining time we have to paid PTA fund.A little amount have to be paid in each semester. There is no other difficulties in cost of my education.Scholarship namely central sector scholarship,state merit scholarship etc applied .

Campus Life

Annual festival held during the month of March.It was good one.College giving more importance in Sports.So Many students have got medals in interzone sports meet. Library in college is also nice one.A good collection of books make library more attractive.Election coordinaton was good one.

Admission

I got my admission based on 12 th score.During the admission process I have applied different courses in different colleges.After publishing the frst allotment I got the admission in the chittur govt collage.Admission process of the college during that time was quite lag.But it's ok I am satisfied.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Admission:

This university is entirely based on art and culture for getting admission here I gave an aptitude test and then interview. Total marks for both was 75 50 for test and 25 for interview.. questions were basic if we used your analysis power.

Actually in my college there is no entrance exam in my course, I chose this course (BA economics) because of my parents advice and I know how this course is important in the future I got admission on the merits basis. I got an admission card from the college. So there is no other procedures, admission based on plus two marks.

Try it if you have three years in pocket.

After doing plus two in arts stream with geography from Kerala board of education i applied for bsc geography at govt college chittur. I had 97% marks in final exam and got admission from the first allotment itself. The admission was by apply online .your 12th result is the eligibility the government start admission process after the 12th result published then we can apply online and if your 12th mark is good and above 80 Percentage they were select you and contact you for more know more details about you if your interested to join the course go to the College with you certificate and see the HOD sir then the other process will known by the HOD sir and if you have any reservation or benifit the will contact you directly and inform you to join the course...Read More

Wonderful College in Palakkad District

The college has a great history and one of the best government colleges in Kerala. Highly qualified faculties and a beautiful environment. Admission mainly starts after the Kerala State Board Exam Results. College comes under the University of Calicut.
