Remarks

There are some basic suggestions...if we report any issue it should be taken action immediately... there should not be any postponed...

Course Curriculum Overview

I like the campus first, and teaching level is too good compared with other colleges and interesting smart class is taken showing subject related machine and designing videos through the smart class, so we interact the staffs, structure of lab and classrooms are well.

Placement Experience

It's really dammed good we learned a lot in placement training and attended too.in placement training, they teach how to communicate and survive with peoples and companies. Company for internship and placement dream zone, reliance trends.

College Events

fantabulous September, sports day, one celebration, pooja celebration, Pongal celebration Diwali celebration. christmas celebration, Nehru festival, other department function are farewell, fashion show, workshop department function, holly, Vinayagar Chardhurthi.

Fee Structure And Facilities

12000semester fee 60000 for hostel comparing with another college. 12500 next semester I think comparing with another college it is better for me and us really proud to study here with low fee structure. Blessed lot with an environment and campus surrounding.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have a scholarship in the first year according to my marks and they told maintaining 75%of marks will continue the scholarship.

Campus Life

Everyone is dam good they conducting a lot of events and sports activity-based programs and awarded with a lot of traffic yoga, and we used the library to study a lot. motivating staffs to join in extracurricular actives in our college they providing OD to participate.

Alumni/Alumna

Our Rank algorithm which comprises of 7 factors: Tests, Reputation Points, Profile completeness, Activeness, Social Vouches, recommendations, and Premium Profiling. The initial ranking you see below is considering 2 factors of Profile Completeness and Activeness. Looking for ranking by any specific one or more talents, course, location or specializations.

Admission

My dads only suggest me to study here, through my family opinion I joined here .as my mother and father told me to pick this college as to decide my future well. and I attended the interview. After I selected to this college and now I feel better to choose the right place.

Faculty

they people are motivating a lot. such a blessing staffs.and they conveying about online course and apply for that .and motivating us to study well. Conducting unit test regular workshops added class they providing the lot of things to do activity for students.

Nit Trichy B.Sc. B.ed. student review

Likes

girls to boys ratio is 1:1 is we consider all three branches with some courses with more male while other having for female.more or less the ratio is near 1:1
the most important thing for you is there is close to zero discrimination for you , whether you want to join any club or perform anything you are equivalent to students with others bachelor degree
octagon and library are the two things which are good as library is considered the biggest library among all nit's while octagon having 800 computers for students.NSO ground is also well maintained with the beautiful mig fighter jet to take cool phot

Dislikes

for first years hostel are well maintained if compared with others but don't expect much from hostel atlast this is a government college.in first year 3 to 4 person sharing room are there which was build to carry 2 person.
Quant and entrepreneur thing is not there as you might expect by seeing the nirf 9 ranking but it is not zero .they are growing clubs like profNITT and Sigma are young and they could do better
curfew timing for girls are 9 or 9:30 pm i guess be it any year. for boys ,only freshers have curfew with timing 9:30 pm.other than that any student can't step outside the college after 10 pm without the sign out form.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as maths is the mother of all science and quite related to other fields so it opens a lot of door for me like mba ,mtech ,phd or any other things. this course is specifically designed for becoming teachers so keep that in mind before taking this course as they are not flexible in changing curriculum or adding something for the sake of students as of now. also you will be having more working days compared to other courses with 80 percent mandatory attendance.after first sem you will get 1 week holiday and after 2nd sem you will get 50.days holiday and after first year you can expect 20 days holiday for winters and 50 days holiday for summers. you will get a lot of time to study for exams. before ct 1 you can expect 2 months and then atleast a month for ct 2 and endsems. cons are that you don't have the right to choose minor or electives like btech students.you have to compulsory study all three science .i.e. maths , physics, chemistry.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Likes

The faculties are very well experienced and there are captains who stay in the campus itself, so if there’s something we need they will be available all the time
The facilitieslike labs, ship in campus, DB tank facilities etc are top notch
The classrooms are fully air conditioned. There’s smart board. Overall everything is really good and also neat and clean

Dislikes

Galley food can improve a little and canteen is comparatively small for such a big campus
They are not conducting intra- college events and inter-college events is very less

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good in HIMT. I got placed in 1st year itself in MOLMI. All faculties try their best to prepare us for the placements and it shows in the placement interview also. Usually companies come for placements from 2nd year but there are some companies who want to take girl cadets 1st year itself. MOLMI, MOLTA etc came to our college for placements. After completion of the course, company will call for induction and accordingly they will call for joining the ship. For finishing the cadet ship , we have finish 12 months of sea time. After that a lot courses has to be done for appearing in 2 nd mates exam.
