What Students Say

Likes

The student environment is good. Students here are cooperative and friendly
The location is pretty good. It is right at the centre of the city so no worries
Wise range of courses are offered toe tudents to choose from

Dislikes

The faculty members' behaviour towards the students is not well.
The campus is too small. There's no such campus life that you could experience
Basic necessities are not present for the students which becomes quite challenging

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is a bit orthodox as compared to today's world. The subjects need an immediate upgradation. The curriculum only provides theoretical knowledge and has 0 implementation in real life. The subjects need an updatation and need to be more practical and realistic. The exams are anytime. A semester is said to be of 6 months but in my two years experience i haven't seen a semester of 6 months. Sometimes the semester exams are conducted in two months sometimes in five but none lasts 6 months

Class Size: 94Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees is fixed and does not fluctuate..the tuition fees amounts to 22000INR pet year for 3 years. I love in paying guest so my accomodation expenses is almost around 8000 a month. I'm not benefitted by any of the college scholarship programs . There is no such campus employment situation in the college

Campus Life

There are a very few events happening in the college. It's quite boring. It is a tedious task to access books from the library and the options to choose from are limited as well. The classroom are well equipped with smart boards and good internet connection. There are societies run by students in different fields like debate ,dance, singing, quiz, etc

Admission

A student needs to take the CUET UG exams that are held on e every year. The selection is through cuet exams only. When I took the exams I had to pay 1300 for the application form. The application form and all other details are present on the website of NTA i.e, the national testing agency or even at samarth.com. The admission process is quite smooth I just feel the preference for reservation quota can be a. Little less. As the deserving students are unable to grab the opportunity.

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is inadequate. I guess the class size could have been reduced a little. The faculty members do not have a proper approach towards their teaching techniques . They are least helpful and the students have to work on their own. Interacting with teachers is a big task as they are not cooperative and their behaviour towards the students depends on their mood. The syllabus is not completed on time

This university had very attractive infrastructure and I was amazed by its performance in all other fields such as fine arts.. sports and different language.. different cultural groups were made and timely competitions were organised in order to keep students intact.

i think for why we choose b.com hons other than b.com becouse to get the extra exposer but when i talking to my b.com friends i get to know they are on the same pinch there is no much difference after give that much of money exams are not that much hard we will that only study for one week and they to inprove this course the can add some real world task in the course

Our university has a very lively campus environment
We are provided with the opportunities to participate in different cultural events
The college's clubs and events help students explore their interests beyond academics

The mindset of some students, some are very judgemental
The wifi can be improved as it would be helpful in studies
There is partiality in events on gender base

My course provide me with different subjects in 6 semesters, They prepare us for outside world as well They prepare us for the interview through one subject called business communication As I am in first year i cannot judge the entire examination system

students can easily reach out to the professors for any concern
all the professors are very polite and helpfull

Dislikes

the websites of the university needs a little improvement
it is very difficult to attend classes as evry now and then there are strikes going on in the campus

The course curriculum is very good as i thout of pursuing B.com Hons because it is very defferent from the regular B.com it has subjects like mathematics, IT and advertisement so you can get idea about these purticuar subjects.

Infrastructure and college staff support

My honest college review.

Likes

The assignment work is good and we obtain good marks in practicals.
The teaching method of our faculty is good.
The infrastructure of my college is good and the environment is fresh and peaceful.

Dislikes

There is no internship. The students cannot get experience of some other works
Lack of networking ,if we want to discuss about business ideas or other ,then no one is very active on these topics. I am writing about students not about teachers.
No other things about my college which i don't like.

Placement Experience:

If you want to join this college for a better placement so you should join another college or university because this college is for those who want just a graduation degree and prepare for some other courses like CA,CMA,CFA or other. I am not sure about the highest or average package as per company but i want to clear that this college is not for those who want to complete their graduation and start earning.

If I talk about my college that i appreciate is the best part of environment very much good and more than best other government colleges in mzn
Our campus life is okay okay!! Cause I'm not that part of campus life. So I don't enjoy that part of my college.
I truly talking about faculty's it is genuine with us . And teaching methods is best every teachers always the right time in the classroom.

Dislikes

No more provided placements in our college cause it is a government. But always support teachers for providing for career development.
It's a properly government college. So more more facilities in our college and campus life other students who studied about coursees.
I did completed Bachelors of commerce in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ok, if I talk about my course, I have done B.Com from there and B.Com is a very good level course. It means there is a degree in it and I had to prepare for government job and from the beginning I had taken commerce in 11th class, so I found B.Com very suitable for me and as far as exams are concerned, B.Com means good study. Our college used to teach us very well, so I had also taken tuitions together, so it was quite good. My experience means it did not seem so difficult. I found it very difficult, I used to get very good exams and I cleared it very well without any back.

Nice college for the greenery in campus and some faculty is so good and cooperative with students.

Likes

The atmosphere of the college is too good.
The canteen where we all students can sit and enjoy our meals.
The teachers who taught us very well about the related subjects.

Dislikes

Less functions in the college in night so the students can enjoy.
More assignments are given by the teachers.
There is 25 rupee fine on having absent in the college for day.

Placement Experience:

I have availed the yearly course so in 3rd year I am eligible for the campus placement. The companies came are just dial , utkarsh bank , icici bank , tech mahindra, etc. came for the placement. The highest package is of 5 lakhs per annum and the average package is 3 lakhs per annum .

i choose this course because i am interested in commerce and business background .and faculty of the college was average. and in bba department 6 teachers was there and they are well educated and teaching methods of all is very good and suitable for the all students . exams are normal and difficulty level is modrete and all exams are conducted on time .

Arya Mahila PG College is an affiliate college of Banaras Hindu University itself and thus it was alloted to me, on cutoff basis. I chose Banaras Hindu University cause of its cultural values along with good prestige and brand name, along with good faculty and education being imparted here being above the other colleges or universities. The admission process of my college is extremely simple, you just have to apply for CUET UG which is an entrance exam for applying to various universities and colleges for an undergraduate course. Thereafter appear for the exams and get good enough marks which are above the cutoff for Banaras Hindu University. Then fill up the counselling form for Banaras Hindu University and then the seat will be alloted to you for the particular college you clear cutoff for, in my case it was AMPG then you will have to get your physical verification done at the college campus itself, to confirm your seat.
