Mainly many IT companies comes for the placement with an average package of 4 lakhs. The placement ratio is very high, if there are total of 600 students then above 500 of students will get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees may vary according the type of seat we gets. The college have three admission types: (1)merit, (2) management, (3)NRI. Ive got merit seat and for merit seats the fee pattern is 1lakh for a year. So all total the tuition fees only costs 4 lakhs and there will be more additional fees. The college provides various scholarships which will help in fee reduction. The college have various technical and cultural activities in which we can take part and also we can coordinate as team leader.

Campus Life

The college conducts varoius technical and cultural activities which will helps to improve our technical knowledge and social knowledge. The activities will be conducted in a time gap of 3-4 months. The college library is having large amount of books. College is having College teams in games like volleyball, basketball, cricket, football, badminton and also there is ground/courts for playing the games The campus provides various social clubs which will helps to improve our social skills.

Admission

For getting the admission in this college there are three methods: (1)merit qouta (2) management qouta (3)NRI qouta. Basically we require to pass the engineering test named KEAM. The application is full online. The application charge a small amount. The exams are conducted as per the regulations given by KTU university.

Faculty

All the faculties in the college are having a minimum qualification of masters in technology. They are really helpful in supporting us for all activities both in academic manner and non-academic manner. We can interact with the faculties at anytime as we require they will not restrict us and they will help us in a very nice manner.

All the teachers are well qualified and equipped to teach but the quality of teaching differs as per individual.

Dislikes

The say of students in matters concerning them or others is nil. We have very little say as the management takes all decisons.
Teachers have ego and superiority issues between themselves which might affect the children in 4th year, project phases.
Fests, events and functions are not upto any expectations.Schools in trivandrum have better events than our college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan, infosys, commandtech, bimlabs, gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
