What Students Say

Likes

being in biotech one need handsn experience which is provided as the strength is low and the labs are best for experince .
in tems of evaluation per course , its transparent , food in the mess is good - won't say like home but its bearable and evden sometimes really really tasty too.
seniors are god , faculty is nice well educated mostly from foriegn institutes morover labs are pretty well . fests are nice , atmosphere is very friendly - no restrictions

Dislikes

I did'nt liked the hostel life in terms of rooms , rooms are suffocating -are small and it seems like they will be going to shift to triple sharing only which might hurt sentiments .
I dislike lack of intership opportunity particularly in my field .
They have tieup's with foriegn universities but the amount wavier remains unchanged.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like to study biology and interest in both technical background and in research . so this course for students like me. curriculum provided by university is best for the program , it lacks placement but teaching and learning part is best overall.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 555000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

scholarship are easy to get , hard to maintain . got 75 % scholarship based on marks in top 3 subjects in 12th (even CUET , NEET and others for other prograame are applicable ) . one need to maintain 8 cgpa on average of 2 semester . tution fee is high no dout.

Campus Life

Euphoria is the annual fest while Tech Fest, law fest, sports fest , and many more are there. library is good with avaliability of e-library too and a separate law library for law pep. there are projectors, lab with mac appliances (all fancy stuff) sports are good, yearly tournaments are scholarships based on this is also provided. plenty of clubs - anime,dance,sing,fashion,e-sports,art , creative, sustainability , lgbt and many more .

Admission

admissions are easy to get, scholars just get the advantage of fee waiver nothing more , yes gets placements too. application form is there on the website and the application form fee is there then one gets a confirmation mail and here the start begins.

Faculty

all the faculty i interacted so far are very well qualified and very supportive in every aspect . they teachh , support and motivate too . the syllabus is covered very well , then we have dout classes and even extra classes to learn the subject well . we have mentors to guide too

Other Applied Colleges

Chandigarh University - [CU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Biotechnology)

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Bennett University worth or not ???

Other colleges I applied for were -- VIT Velore, SRM University, Manipal University and sat for counseling too. The reason I didn't take admission in these colleges was mostly because of the distance from my home. I wanted a good college near my hometown and Bennett was the perfect candidate. It was close to my home city, provided the course I wanted to take and had a decent average package. The curriculum, fests, infrastructure and in general living conditions here at Bennett University are better than those at other colleges. But the placements and the education quality need improvement. The admission process is pretty simple: just register on the website, then fill out the form. After this, you have to come to the college to complete the registrations, that's it....Read More
