Likes
- Its a good university that provides good facilities and teachers having good knowledge.
- Number of colleges under this University is much bigger than other one's, so this bring transparency.
- Government certified, honored with NAAC+ grade and many more.
Dislikes
- Pattern of checking answer sheet after external exams isn't good sometime.
- Lack of practical knowledge in various colleges.
- Senior/Upper bodies in university, will not solve issues suggested by students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Some of improvements i want to suggest is that, course curriculum should be focused on critical thinking and practical knowledge, means the practices in course should be related to real world queries regarding real situations. A semester of 6 months has only 2 - 3 months of course completion time. Even sometimes the difficulty of that semester is more, that it need more time to complete.
Internships Opportunities
Some branches are rich to internship but some are just lacking of it. Mostly the faculties, deans, consider Computer science engineering branch in internship purposes, like my department is civil engineering which is always ignored, not a single company reached us through college in last 2 - 3 years. Now its my 6th semester, and in next month i have to do internship for project work. But still we haven't any option/offer about internships.
Fees and Financial Aid
Lack of campus employments, and if they have than the college mostly consider computer science branch. Fee structure is slightly good. Even a middle class person can afford some courses in this University. Scholarships is a concern to be considered, because possibility of getting a Scholarship amount is not much.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is good. But placement of classes, library, etc isn't proper. In library, some books are too old and insufficient material for study, Campus's environment is dusty because on prevention taken in construction. Ya its good in plantation but it is not enough.
Admission
It is slightly better than other universities but documentation is more and students have to submit there original documents like 10th - 12th marksheets, Transfer certificate, cast certificate, etc until that course, the student doing will not completed. Faculties threaten students to submit their fees otherwise he will not able to sit in external exams. Admission block's Faculty pressurise candidates to take admission in a specific branch even the students hasn't interested.
Faculty
Overall teachers are good but, if say about there behavior towards students isn't good sometimes. Some of the faculty have interest in there own profits. Faculties aren't much interested in giving advice to students if that student relates from other branch. Sometimes, feels like faculty have lack information about there subjects.
