What Students Say

Likes

Faculty, Teaching methods, vast courses, campus life

Dislikes

Classrooms were not central cooled, administration work takes very long

Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for this course because of great number of opportunities for government exams and avail government jobs or jobs in PSU's. Course could be more practical. And level of exam is excellent as per our course and classroom teaching.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Their are companies which university recommend for intership some comes as placement drive in university itself and we can do internships from external companies but there are some criterion for this.

Placement Experience

3.5

Campus placement is good and student start getting placed from 5th semester. Mostly companies eligibility criteria is above 6.0 cgpa and average package is 3.5- 4 LPA. 50% students gets placement and internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure was pretty good as of engineering and every course available in university. And there were many scholarship programs for students who can't afford tuition fees! And university conduct exam before admission i.e. CUCET for avail scholarship on the basis of marks

Campus Life

The overall experience with campus life was pretty good. Chandigarh University's campus is full of happenings there are many events going on in daily basis! And university promotes sports and extra curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel were good in CU! Study table, bed, almirah were provided to individual with central cooling system. Meal quality was very good and healthy! On weekly basis menu changes and they ask for suggestions from student to improve!

Hostel Fee: INR 86000 per year

Admission

There is no such type of eligible criteria for admission purpose one should clear 12th board examination and admission process is also easy as you can apply online or offline as per your convenience .

Faculty

4.5

Classroom teaching was good and interaction with faculty members was ease and good! Faculty was good qualified and professional! Mentorship sessions were also organised on weekly basis and it was very good for students

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
