Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There will be fixed fees amount and if you scored well in the college entrance exam you can enter into college without any admission fee and fees will per sem 70000 and from 2 nd sem the fees will reduces to 30-30k in between when you applied for the scholarship.

Campus Life

Roots 2.0 the festival which conducted for freshers welcoming and one of the best memories in college life. Food fests also organized frequently we can participate in it. Library is one of the best in India and having access to more journals and thesis book for reference. Sport meet happens every year students with good talent can showcase there

Should complete Bsc agriculture Attend college entrance exam by paying 1500 fee Your rank in entrance exam below 109 Reservation is there for Christian students Exam held on June - August, exam is moderate we can crack with less preparation

Professors are very interactive and always welcome for doubts and in classroom they teach using ppts with easy understanding. They help practically to students by taking us in to field and labs. They are highly professional and having great experience.we are fortunate.

My overall experience is positive because of practical knowledge
Curriculum is industry oriented with guest lectures
Professors are knowledgeable and supportive

Dislikes

Placement depends on individual performance
Some administrative process takes longer time
The Wifi connection is a major drawback.

Placement Experience:

Placement support is good with around 85-90 % eligible students getting placed through campus placement. Companies also visit but mostly come for sales and marketing role. Internship opportunities are also provided

A peaceful place for sincere students

Likes

The faculty is very supportive and guide you in every manner. It is upto you whether you want to go for further studies and research or you have to prepare for competitive exams, they will guide and support you in every aspect.
All the departments are interconnected and they will help you in every manner. they will provide you the facilities to conduct your research work efficiently. Facilities are up to the mark.
You have library facilities alongwith a central library there are departmental libraries too. For research work you can move to different research institutes and different agriculture universities as they have MoU with them.

Dislikes

Hostel timinigs are odd here. Also there are no separate rooms here. You have to live in a two seater room.
there is not as such things that no one will like here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

there are mid terms conducted after 2 months of the semester registration, then final exams are conducted 2-2.5 months later after the mid-terms. So the course work is not very hectic here. You cand easily manage and balance you course and research work simultaneoulsy.

Here You will get enough time to prepare for any exam in addition to your Masters course.

Dislikes

Classes is not regular here in some department with lack of labs.

Placement Experience:

In 2nd year of Masters you can participate in campus placement.A number of private companies which include seed company, Breeding company and certain types of banks ,Agri equipment manufacturing companies used to visit our campus.A min of 3.5 lakh per annum is average package.If in anyway if I won't get selected in campus placement then I will opt for government agriculture jobs.

Likes

Campus is covered with trees and ecosystem of the campus is mesmerizing.
Central library is in the same place and having capacity of more than 100 students an library inchrge is nice person.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Paper are made in moderate level and exams are regular, there is a need of improvements in practical exams because of its favoritism in no. allotment. Semester are timely and end by the month of june.

Placement Experience:

If you want to campus placement...you have to grab the above 70% Mark's in each semester. Then you seat in placement and crack the interview. Lastest Yaara company highest package eleven lakh , last year my senior where selected.

Good job for the development of college and university

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose my subject because I interested in it. The faculty and students ratio is 1:2. Exams are not very difficult for that student who did hard work and study but the exam should not be a very easy and simple level of the paper is medium to high. But not very easy to clear the exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our university is good. Varied companies of different backgrounds come for recruitment here. One company which I had gone for the interview was VNR Seeds for most of the assistant breeder. The company was good at giving a good package but the placement is still not being done as we didn't get the results due to lockdown in our country.

Average college, but you can still achieve well through hard work here

Eligibility for the course was 10+2 with PCM/PCMB or Inter-Agriculture (marks minimum 45% in aggregrate). The university conducts entrance examination the details of which are easily available on their website. The sessions starts with mid or end of July so one can check for the application dates in June. Reservation is for the Christian minority in entrance examination. Eligibility for the BTech course is if you have passed class 12th with at least 45% or above, the application form and other details are available on its own website, reservation is for Bihar students, and you will get admission through the Bihar credit card scheme even though you study within fewer fees, as such no improvement I want to see in the admission process, Maybe its the rarest college where you get admission directly without any entrance exam in some courses like BTech etc....Read More
