Course Curriculum Overview
they follow the same ciricullum that has been taught from the past 10 years no changes in the subjects same syllbus , they just randomize subjects in each semester , like if our seniors learnt a subject in their 4th semester there is low chances we will study the same subjects again , they will put those subjects in another semester thats all everytinhg stays same.
Fees and Financial Aid
fees for CSE is 106000 right now they increase the fees evey year for the new students , scholrships are there for students via entrace exam called cucat , defence , sibling etc. but but but.... if you have scholarship and come in the first year... the college will try their best to make your scholarship 0 , there are few criterias to maintain our scholarship each year that is : 7.5+ CGPA and no backlog in a single subject they give very less marks in each and eveything intentonally so that we get less cgpa in the end and our scholarship becomes 0. some teachers told us that the higher management gives special instructions to teachers to give less marks then they deserve to deduct our scholarhip. more then 70% + students loose their scholarship due to this,.
Campus Life
Infrastrucure in Good, campus life overall is average due to high amount of students ther is high competition and everyone have this mentality of not helping each other , everyone wants to be ahead of each other so that they can get placed in a good company and not anyone else. A lot of events are oragnaised in the campus so that's a good thing. But if you are doing enginnering... my friend you will not get time to attend those events hahaha... so be prepared in first year you can attend freshers party and all that thing, but after second year the hell begins in be ready to get depressed and face reality beacuse everyone in this college faces the same thing.
Admission
in my time in year 2022 there was literally no eligibility to take admission anyone can easily take admission , there are 7000+ students in CSE alone in my batch now you can imagine what was the situaion backthen , when you fill admiision form online in their website someone in 2-3 days will call you and help you in the admission process. they organise an entrace exam for SCHOLARSHIP called CUCAT it's your wish to take it or not 1000 fees for the exam .
Faculty
faculty need phd to teach in cu , currently there is hsortage of teachers in our college so they are hiring literally anyone , in my third semester of CSE i had these two teachers one just completed his phd and came to teach us mathematics and another one just completed her masters and came to teach us operating systems , with no experience of teaching no one showed intrest in their class. Some teachers are very brilliant they have good qualifications and very great experience in teaching so they know how to teach students and maintain a student-teacher realtion but hey are very few that it's our luck if we get one of those teachers or not !
