What Students Say

Likes

College environment is good , seniors are supportive.
College infrastructure is also good , spacious and a lot of garden area is there
Professors are nice , they teach well , take regular classes too

Dislikes

Computer labs have a lot of unoperable computers

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college follows GTU syllabus , syllabus is quiet unplanned( it's just my opinion) liek we have to study BME and BEE , they are not related to our field(I'm in computer science ) syllabus is quiet big

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provide internship opportunity We can select the internship given by college or we can find one by our own , college provide internships with small tech , software companies , and some big companies too , and they have quiet good experience

Placement Experience

3.5

There are great placement opportunities in our college , in our computer department, last year placement percentage was 100% and Average package was 6 lpa ,its quiet impressive , a lot of companies visit our campus like Wipro TCS Adani and many more , so placements are good !

Fees and Financial Aid

It's a government college so of course fee is less , 1500 per year for boys and free for girls. So it's very affordable, but doesn't mean college is not good , it's one of the best engineering college you will find in Gujarat. We have quiet great placements avg placements are 6 lpa

Campus Life

College infrastructure is good , a big campus and you get metro , BRTS , AMTS in walking distance , a lot of malls , cinema are there near the college , so you'll have a lot of options on weekend ! We don't have much fests But we do celebrate Navratri, Ganesh Chaturthi and character day and all that stuff There are a lot of clubs too Like NSS , vgec gymkhana (for sports) , photography club

Admission

Admission is on basis of GUJCET and boards percentage combined , 50% GUJCET and 50% boards . There's a special committe for Admission in Gujarat government colleges ACPC(Admission committe for professional courses ) so we have to register there and fill choice of college and course we want to pursue, its easy to register and process is simple

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are well qualified , they all have passes GPSC , and they have specialisation in the field they teach , some professors are strict apart of that everything is good , they take regular classes , teach properly, take doubt sessions too

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
