Likes
- There are two canteens which are food Street and rock plaza and both of them provide almost every Indian dish from North to South.
- The campus is spread in 5 acres and have almost every facilities to make our lives comfortable.
- Placements are second best to IITs as our core branches such as CSE, IT, and others have seen record 100% placements for many years.
Dislikes
- There are only a few hostels inside the campus as maximum college hostels are off campus and it definitely doesn't make any sense as college is almost 10kms from those hostels.
Course Curriculum Overview
Engineering means CSE for me and CSE is the only subject that has bit of everything like gaming, AI, Cyber security, or health informatics among others. VIT AP believes in making complete engineers and our course is designed accordingly. Exams are monthly as each monthly project holds some marks and major weightage is on final exams.
Placement Experience
Placements are close to 100% and every student who enters fourth year without any backlog is eligible for placements. Big IT names like Capegemini, Google, and Peacock Technologies among many others have took a major work force from our college and have learned that students of VIT AP has delivered for them. This is the reason why VIT AP has such a strong alumni based that our college will never be short of placements opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is 3 lakhs a year and it is supposed to stay same as of now. Well, the fees can be even higher or lower depending on your rank in VITEEE. First the merit holders their gets some discount and then for the students from reserved category, sports representative, students with army Lineage, or students from economic weaker section all have the opportunity to avail a discount in their fees through scholarships.
Campus Life
From the beginning of the sessions events starts but major college event is VITOPIA. Every year the event is celebrated with great enthusiasm and many top artists like Salim Merchant and Baadshah has performed at our college. Sporting facilities like badminton courts, squash courts are available at our campus and students are seen sweating it out at the courts post college hours.
Admission
VITEEE is one and the only way you will get admissions here. Application form are available online and results come out in June end. By July end all the lists are out and sessions start in August. I think first sessions can start a little earlier as first semester literally lasted just 3 and a half months.
Faculty
Well, as they say the faculties are the ones that impact education then the quality education that VIT AP has imparted till now is all because of the kind of faculties that it has. Since CSE is a core branch and doubts are obvious so one can approach the faculties to take extra classes on Sundays or even holidays and they would never turn down any request.
