- The college mostly emphasize on university curriculum, which helps in improving the minimum percentage to sit in placement drives
- The faculty and staff of this college is mostly helpful, resolves doubts and explains each topic in depth patiently.
Dislikes
- Lack in extra curricular activities and focusing just on studies makes student's routine monotonous sometimes
- One might feel no difference between school and this college as there are regular class tests, submission of pending assignments etc.
- Too much strictness by the departments, which inhibits student's freedom and yes, we also have uniforms
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science is the need of hour today hence i decided to opt for this course but The curriculum provided by the university is old and obsolete. It lacks in real world applications and usage in mordern world. It should be updated and must be free from mugging up concepts and should focus on applications.
Placement Experience
Placements of this college are average, however, various problem solving sessions are scheduled from second year onwards on compulsary basis. Some of the companies visited are tcs, wipro, mahindra etc..
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees is over hyped, since i belong to the general category, i didn't get any scholarships. Tution fees for hostels however incerases dramatially each year. Tution fees are more or less stable over some years.
Campus Life
Clubs here are mostly after the college hours, libraries are available for reading and study section, classroms are equipped with projectors and air conditioners. The maintainence of air conditioners are bad here.
Admission
Joint Enterence Examination Score Card and cut off for various categories is verified before admissions. UPTU councelling is also an option to get in here. Admissions are also done direcly in this college with no fee wavier
Faculty
Interaction with teachers is quite good. The faculty is nealrly all time available during college hours and one can eaisly go and clear doubts related to academics. there is one mentor mentee session in a week where a group of students is assigned a personal mentor who is responsible for miniprojects. Faculty to student ration in a class is just as a school like 1 teacher for every 65 students. Most of the teachers are persuing their Phds along with teaching.
