Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is relevant to the elected course and the teachers do their best in teaching that subject , but in exams they ask something else only , the exams are not what the students has expected nor the teacher's had taught about that , and being a second year student that had happened quite a lot .

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are many internships available further the 2nd year in college, students in 3rd year can avail internships by sending their resumes to companies that visits college and can qualify for the same . Recently JP Morgan visited college and offered 80000 stipend for the students, and students from 2nd year and further are eligible.

Placement Experience

3

The college claims to have 100 percent placement but right now as recession is going on , the placement had reduced to 50 percent . Only few students gets placed in the previous year . There is a training and placement program in college which is available for the students in the second year and the students are trained for placements . But if a student fails to fulfill the criteria, he is not allowed to sit in placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of BE CSE in 2022 was 210000 per year , which has been increased to 272000 per year in 2024 . The hostel was 90000 per year but now it is above 110000 for 5 seater rooms . The university gives you scholarship based on your Boards result and CUCET Scholarship test . The scholarship aspect is good about the college. One can get upto 100 percent scholarship i.e. only have to pay the examination fees which is only 2500 per semester.

Campus Life

4

The campus life in college is amazing , one can bet with me on that. There are fests happening every semester and many celebrities visit college and perform time to time . The college campus is open to student till 8 in the evening, students can roam here and there, enjoy with their friends or study in the library. There are many clubs and social groups in the college run by students . There is a sports tournament in college every year in which students from all over India participate. The classrooms have wifi , electricity and projectors .

Admission

The admission process is pretty simple in CU , you just have to fill the registration form online and then all the faculty members of college will be available for you . The application fees is 1000 rupees which is also your registration for CUCET exam and if you score above 40 in that exam then you're qualified to become a CU student . The CUCET exam difficulty level is easy to moderate. And it doesn't have a particular timing one can give the exam from home whenever he's free in the given window .

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is good, there is two staff rooms on each floor in every block . In the adjustments the faculty teaches the students on the corresponding course . Some teachers are very good at teaching and mentoring, they are always available for you . But 2 out of 10 are like just doing their job ,they don't interact well with students and they just want to get out of the classrooms as soon as possible. Interaction with teachers and approachability is something CU provides you , you can go to any teacher whenever you are free .

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
