Remarks

The good thing is they provide quality learning but they are not capable of placing most of their students.

Entrance Preview

This college is the branch of trusted JSPM campus. It was not my first choice. But I got the seat in this college by cap round. But this is a good college for completing a degree in engineering. This college has more seats for a direct second-year student. So I got this college

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course is mechanical engineering. Mechanical is related to mechanisms, machines, etc. Mechanical is the one branch which has syllabus of all other branches so it has more scope. Most of the boys choose mechanical engineering but there is less number of girls interested in mechanical engineering.

Internships Opportunities

No. My college does not provide internship but they allow and help students to do the internship in other industries.

Placement Experience

1.5

Honestly, I will say that job opportunities are very less. Because this is the newly opened branch of JSPM. so there are very few reputed companies coming for campus drive. But there are some local private industries which came for campus interview. So college management should work on that.

College Events

3.5

Event organization is best in this college. Gathering, traditional day, Bollywood day, etc are arranged in January or February. Also, other events like quiz competition, robot race, paper presentation, etc are arranged by committees like mesa and cesa. Also, the college provides the base for singers, artists.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is little feasible compared to other colleges. The average fee structure for open category students is 90,000 rupees per year. The fee structure is categorized according to cast category. Freeship, scholarship, ebc, and other schemes are provided by the government.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides scholarship and freeship for caste students which are offered by the government. And provides ebc and hostel maintenance allowance for open category. They also allow for education loan.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio is not good. There is very less number of girls compared to boys. So college life is not fully enjoyable. The college has modern labs having all the instruments. They also gather sports competitions but college ground is not so large. College gives funds to the student to participate in various competitions.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The college has 1 hostel for boys and 1 hostel for girls. College provides good facilities for hostels. It contains beds, lockers, hot water, electricity, free wifi, etc. Both the hostels are having full security. But college doesn't have its own mess but there are so many messes available in the campus area.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. Senior students are always in contact with staffs. Senior students provide information to college if there are any vacancies in the company in which they are working. College also provides get together for passed out students.

Exam Structure

The exam is according to the schedule of Pune university. For the first year and second year, there is 50 marks online test and 50 marks theory test. For the third year and final year, there is 30 marks insem theory test and 70 marks endsem theory test. Also, unit test and preliminary exams are carried at the college level.

Admission

I got admission in this college through cap round. First, I applied for engineering and then id and password were given to me. After that, I filled option form in which I filled names of colleges of my choice. And then I got admission in this college in cap round 1.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of my college was average. Some of them are experienced faculties and some of them are trainee faculties. But faculty focus on the progress of each n every student personally. They have to use digital media like projectors, seminar hall while teaching.

Placement Experience:

Placement at GH Raisoni College Of Engineering and Management are moderate, especially for CSE/AI Student . Students become eligible from the 7th sem. companies like TCS, Infosys, and WIPro visit the campus. The higher package goes upto around 8-10 LPA, and the average Package is 3-4 LPA. Around 60-75% of students get placed. After graduation, i plan to work in software/AI roles and improve my skills through internship and Certifications.

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Placement Experience:

The placments are overall moderately good especially if you are from electrical branches including Electrical , Electronics, Computer, and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. From third year onwards internship season starts where companies visits our campus and students need to go through online tests and series of interviews for each companies to get offer where the students selected for offer need to attend the internship after the end of third year in may and june when college have holidays. Similarly Based on performance the interns may get full time offer as well. Full Time Placement starts in final year and the process is exactly same where the interviews are mostly online and the students placed gets the offer letter. Almost 90 - 95% of the students especially of above branches gets placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the Computer Engineering is all about core subjects which are really helpful for future like cloud, iot and Database etc But the syllabus of the university change after every 4 years and there is nothing but removing one subject and add another similar subject but I think in era of Ai and automation the syllabus is sort of outdated like if you are getting in Second year you have to learn subject which you have not interested in so you have to learn those subjects anyway and if you want to learn more about new skills you have to do it by yourself.
