Vignan University has a very good record of placements with around 80% and many students from the University have qualified GATE. The management of the university gives equal importance to extracurricular activities. It is a good place for the all-round development of the pupil.

The Course is very much student-centric and GATE oriented. You will not need a separate GATE coaching after going through the course thoroughly and there is a lot of importance given to practical learning. Every semester you encounter at least 3 laboratories and you need to qualify in both lab examination and theory, failing in either will mean you need to rewrite both.

Yes, our college provides internship opportunities. It is mandatory for every student to go for an internship in the final semester. University also gives the opportunity of internship aboard for outstanding performers in academics. I don't have the idea about the general stipend but most of my senior say they have good professional exposure in this period as the stipend is directly proportional to the number of working hours.

The university boasts of 80% of placements record even in today's time where placements are tough to find. TCS is a major absorber. Along with TCS, many other companies like VEDAIIT, Capgemini, Mahindra, IBM, Virtusa and many other companies come to our university annually.

They are a by events like the literary week, where there many competitions like short story writing, essay writing, Prater of the year, writer of the year etc., There is an annual sports Fete with students from all parts of the state come to participate in it. Srjunankura is the technical fest and is one of the most popular technical fests of the state.

The fee is 85,000/- rupees for the semester. Every penny spent is worth it and is absolutely feasible. It is very reasonable fees compared to any other university in the nearby area. You need to pay your fee at the beginning of the semester itself. 2,000/- are charged as exam fees in addition to semester fees.

Yes, the university provides scholarships to meritorious students. 75%, 50% and 25% of tuition fees are given as scholarship based knowledge the academic performance of the students.

Campus life is very peaceful. Most of the students are from Andhra Prakash, Telangana, Tamil Nadu. Some students are from Ethiopia also. There are many extracurricular activities and there many clubs like theater arts club, writer's club, orator's club, music club etc., Robotics is given as an option of an open elective department.

The AC hostel for bits and girls is very good and we maintained in proper standards. The NON-AC boy's hostel is a bit below par in terms of space. The AC rooms have attached bathrooms. The mess food is the best in the nearby hostels. The university management doesn't compromise in the matter of quality of food.

Senior students of the university are very helpful and help us to establish ourselves in university. There is no incident of ragging in university and it 100% ragging free

The exam structure is divided into 40+60 style. Where 40 are internal marks where 18 marks are for a weekly test, 16l8 for Mid examinations( 3 mid exams) and 4 marks for attendance. The external exams carry 60 marks. There are around 6 weekly exams 10 marks each for each subject which are reduced to 18 later.

I along with my father went to the admissions department of the university. There they asked my academic credentials (10th class marks and qualifying criteria). The qualifying exams for our university are AP and TS EAMCET, JEE-MAINS, JEE ADV, Vignan University entrance exam, and 12th marks. I secured 4917 ranks in EAMCET. Then they asked me to meet Dean - Admissions for the scholarship. They gave me 25% scholarship, then they explained fee structure and availability of seat in different departments. Once you choose your department and if there is a vacancy in the department, then you need to pay the fee and you get a registration number and you are allotted a seat. Then, you need to submit your academic documents in the university. The admission process comes to end.

The faculty of the university are friendly and has very good depth in the subject. 50% of the faculty are from NIT'S and IIT's. Each faculty is assigned with a certain number of students(30 - 35) for whom he acts as counselor and helps them solving both personal and academic problems and achieve better results.
