What Students Say

Likes

Faculty is nice , Teachers always motivates us to do better in life as well as academics.Syllabus is updated as compared to other private colleges in our area. Library is good with extensive book collection.Canteen is also good. Seniors are also good

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not very good .It could be more improved as keeping in mind as a point of view of a college.
Placement opportunities could be improved.
College life should be independent and they bound us sometimes very hard in rules and regulations

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is updated in our college because it is an autonomous college so we have an updated syllabus. Python is taught to us in 1st year onwards including C language moreover soft skills and communication is also taught to us.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided but not in any formal way. Mostly you have to look it up yourself or either contact your HOD/Professors to get you internships or do it online in a just-do-anyhow motive and attitude. Although Some students get very good internships also but mainly they are off campus.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement opportunities are okay to good. It fully depends upon how you prepare yourself in the 4 years on the basis of skills, personality, behavior, knowledge, etc. Generally, you get placed if you have skills and knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

The First-year fees for BTech CSE AIML are 174600 and similar for other Btech courses. Students get scholarships from the government and this is easily approachable in our college if you have valid certificates.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is very good, there are many restrictions on how we can be on campus. You have to go for outings with your friends to create memories and because the campus is very big. The library is good, all books are available in the college library.

Admission

The admission process is either through jee mains or through direct admission (management quota). Getting admission here is not very difficult and the cutoff for AIML generally goes from 4 to 5 lakh in JEE Mains.

Faculty

Faculties are well qualified. They are motivating, and hardworking and they always focus on practical things rather than only book-based learning. Overall faculty members are good. Working staff could be more friendly sometimes.

Other Applied Colleges

Chandigarh University - [CU] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Fees was a bit high

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time....Read More
