An In-Depth Look at IIMT University : Academic Excellence and Campus Life

The aspects of the curriculum which made me choose this course is the availability of various fields from here like Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, etc which is highly demanded currently. The curriculum prepares us in many ways by providing proper information, by highlighting the key aspects, by helping us understand the problem, by providing mentorship, etc.

Students will be eligible for campus placement from the starting of 5th semester for a 3 year course and from 7th semester for a 4 year course. There are various famous companies who visits every year like Cisco, TCS, Accenture, Cognigent, IBM, etc and there are several offers made by them based on performance. Talking about the package range, so the highest package offered was 33LPA and the average package ranges between 3.5LPA to 7.5LPA. There are 80% of students gets placed who takes placement and rest go for higher studies. My plan is to get a placement so that I can gather as many information as I can in my gaining phase.

Tuition fees as compared to other College/universities is less. There isn't any external charges or other things, it's pretty much less than others. There isn't something about the hike related to the tuition fees. Talking about the total cost of my education including all fees will be around 2.2L for the complete course. As I am a hosteler, so that fee will be around 3.3L. So I am completing my entire course containing hostel in 5.5L. There are various types of scholarship programs are available for the students which they can get to know from their coordinators. There are various types of job roles, and responsibilities which you get inside the college and will get awarded according to the performance.

There are various types of fest which happens annually and on technical festivals like Grand Allumni meet, Samagam, Cultural Fests, etc and the month they are typically held is on January-February. There are various books and journals which are available in both of the libraries. There are 2 library in the campus. The facility provided in the classroom is the method which is used for teaching which contains both written and online/presented method. There are various types of sports and activities offered like Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball Boxing, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, Badminton, etc and there are various competition of these sports conducted.

The facilities provided in the hostel is a well lit and cleaned room with the almirah and you will get a table chair and a bed inside a Non - Ac room. If you are going for a AC room, it will cost you a little much than Non-Ac room. You will get a laundry service 2 times a week with the hostel. The quality of meal is improving day by day. You will get a 4 time meal with different time range. There are different meal everyday in the menu. If you want to take PG or a rented room, you can easily get it within a walking distance from the University in a fare price.

Eligibility of the course is not high you just need a minimum of 40% in your 10+2 examination and you can easily get admission here. To find the application form, one has to reach the university to get the application form there and you can get the application form from March to August. You can also apply for this university if you are from outside using the Contact Now option from its official website. The exam pattern is semester-wise, where there will be 2 sessional exams before every semester which will be conducted approximately every 2 months and the semester exams are conducted on 6 months, talking about the difficulty level it's not very difficult is one has focused on the lectures. An area for improvement I will say related to the time taken for the call back.

Talking about the faculty and the staff, as I already mentioned they are pretty good. They are highly motivated & educated and always help you. The faculty approach related to teaching and mentorship was always on the positive side, they helped us by providing proper knowledge and awarding us about the problems which can arise during our journey. I often interact with teachers to gather as much knowledge as I can which will help me relate to my personal and professional life.
