Course Curriculum Overview
The increasing demand of biotechnologists influenced me to choose the course. However, the course curriculum doesn't much prepared me for real world applications. The additional non required subjects should be replaced with the more relevant subjects. Semester exams held on every 4 month interval. However the exams were always of moderate difficulty level.
Placement Experience
Frim 7th semester students become eligible for college campus placement Pie infocom, HCL technologies, Mahindra, Ashoka Leyland, life cell , etc companies visited and around 30 no. Of offer made Highest package was 450000 and the average package was around 250000 for junior entry level position 2% of students got placed Moved for internship in FMCG company and then having a job in a reputed company
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees was fixed by the state government but still the college demands for extra fee. The complete cost of my education were approx 500000 Chatravriti Scholarship by the state government had been provided every year of 56000 amount There were no facility of of employment or any internship either paid or free
Campus Life
Only annual fest Udaan was held in the month of March Books and journals were available in library in quite nos Facilities were typical and the technological provisions within the classroom were almost nill There were not any facilities of sports or any other curricular activities There was a private club made by seniors students named impressions society
Hostel Facilities
Typical type rooms either 2 seater or 3 seater Food were of average quality Registration of hostel room were done at admission procedure time In my 5th semester I left the hostel and then rented a room in nearby market area
Admission
Eligibility - 12th Application form - On Aktu University portal costed around 1500 which was having application deadline of around 20 days As, I belong to general category so I don't have much idea about reservation benefits but still reservation benefits were there from application fee to tution and hostel fee and in other charges too Exams were always held at an interval of 4 months having a moderate level difficulty Counselling and the fee deposition process should be improved or changed as it takes lot of time and effort
Faculty
There were deficiency of faculty members in almost all departments. They always tried to cover the syllabus but they failed most of the times except few ones. As the faculty members were not much experienced so, they find themselves in difficult situations while taking lectures however they tried to do all the things and this always affected the studies. The one to one interaction with faculties were quite easy for me as I was good in studies as well as I was the Class representative so the approach didn't required much efforts.
Interview Experience
Yes, I faced the university entrance exam for admission Application form, entrance exam and the counselling and admission By self as there were no mentorship for application or for counselling process.
