A comprehensive review of DTU by the students

The course curriculum is Good, it has been updated 6 yrs ago and is still pretty relevant, but I think the pace at which the things are changing, and technical advancements are coming, we would need a updatation of the course will be needed soon. Also they would also need to bring practical aspect of learning into the curriculum and base the education off of that.

the college provides a variety of internships and various opportunities, and also there is a startup incubation program in the college, so they provide paid internships in the college itself in those startups, and the student network is also strong in the college so opportunities like internship keep passing by

The placements of my college are pretty decent, and the package secured by past students are also very good. The college does offer placements and the companies are also v good. The employability of the college students is also good, many scholar students have performed pretty well and have also secured jobs in companies like Microsoft and google

The fee structure is not very good, you have to pay the fees for the whole year, all at once in the starting of the year and not in a s semester wise pattern, and there are a few scholarship opportunities for students from ews category and various other categories. Though the fees are also high compared to other centre run universities.

The campus life has been very great overall, the college also has engifest which is the biggest fest of Delhi and also various fests and events keep happening, the students get a lot of real life opportunities in them to work professionally and get industrial experience. The societies and clubs in the college also are very inclusive and full off opportunities.

The hostel facility is good, the hostels are staff quarters turned hostels so, they are pretty old and have not been renovated for a long time, but the facilities in the hostel are given properly, the mess is pretty decent and there are gardens, full time gym etc. there is also a medical centre.

The admission process was very good and smooth, I gave the UCEED exam and after I filled the form for DTU, the admission process was smooth, as I am a outside Delhi student, I had to come to the college for the admission confirmation. There were no discrepancies in the cut off process and it was pretty good. the only part I did not like was that I had to come to Delhi in a very unpleasant weather.

The faculty Is pretty educated and good, they are qualified enough, but some of them are not very fit for the job they're doing and lack the amount of experience. Many of the faculty members do not teach that effectively and sometimes also avoid taking classes.
