Course Curriculum Overview
The course I choosed is computer science and engineering. The college provides a good scope in this subject as weekly hackathon and coding competition is organised. The syllabus is up to date with the real word and mainly application based things are taught . The exams are taken after every one half month which is MST(mid sem test).2 mid sem test are taken and one final exam is held.
Internships Opportunities
There is good internship opportunities. The college itself provides internship to students from 2nd year. But there is very much competition in paid stipend internships. Your project has to be good if you are in cse then you have to improve your good coding skills for God internship.
Placement Experience
The placement rate at Chandigarh University is good. But there are criteria that you have to study and develop skills if you do not study sincerely for around 4 years then there is very little chance of getting a good placement. CU brings best of best companies for placement but you have to study and be sincere for around 4 years. you will easily get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for btech computer science engineering is increased now it's like 2 lakhs 70 thousand a year. But there is scope of good amount scholarship The candiragh university conducts its own CUCET entrance test and based on that it also provides scholarship upto 100%. I myself got 40 %scholarship.
Campus Life
The campus life is very nice and full of good and happy vibes. It's around 250 acres campus. There are many clubs for various activities. Libraries in every buliding with high speed wifi facility. Every occasion including festival is celebrated with full joy.
Admission
The eligibility to get admission is to score 60% in class 12th in PCM. You can get the application form and information at Chandigarh University website -:https://cucet.cuchd.in/ The admission process is very easy. I had given the CUCET entrance test from home and everything is done online without any issue.
Faculty
The facility to student ratio is good. On every 35 students there is a mentor and cr who manages the students and there resolve their doubts queries The students are free to ask their doubts to teacher at any time in their cabin. The teachers are also very nice and helpful.
